Questions about this item:
Shopper What water temperatures would this thickness be suitable for? I'm close to many 72 degree springs in Florida and can't decide if I should get this suit or the 5 mm version. I'm older now, and tend to chill easily. I'll also be doing some winter free diving in the keys.

mike w Cant tell you, we dove in Cozumel and the cenotes and it was fine this past september. Im not sure of the temps in the cenotes, maybe you can look it up, we were fine in the 3 m
MICHAEL M 3/2 is what I have and it is a little chilly for that temperature, especially if you are doing more than 1 dive; I tend to get a little colder on the second dive. I chill easily as well.

I'm getting a little older and chill easily as well. I bought this suit and have used it in varied temperatures. It woks best for me in 80+. When it get below 80, I come up chilled.
For the second dive I put on a hooded vest under this suit and that works just fine. I haven't done any diving in water that has been below 74. I would suggest that you go with
the 5 mm version for 72 degrees.

PANKAJ K I have only used it in 80F water in Carribbean and it felt just right. For 72F temperature I would strongly recommend slightly thicker suit. Also note that all the suits of same size from different makers have different fit depending upon one one's body. Its sometime difficult to get the right suit online the first time.
HENRIQUE M I think you will be just fine.. I wear mine in the fall here in NC and have no issues.. Other than the fact I do not like cold water!! This suit is easy to get on and off as well..
LARRY M I have dove the springs and the Keys in Jan . and am also getting "older". I found that coupled with a 3 mm hooded vest the 3 mm full suit was very comfortable. It was just a little chilly to dive this temp. with just the 3 mm suit by itself.

ROBERT F Hi Glenn,
I use the suit from 65 degrees on up to 80 plus. However, that said, I'm in the water working for three to four hours at a time.
I think the suit will keep you warm and offer less resistance to movement than the next one up.
If you're just paddling around you should be good for a couple of hours.
On the issue of fit, this suit has lots of sizes and it's really easy to get in and out of. I'm happy with my second one (wore out my first).

JILL R it should be perfect .My is husband is tall and thin and chills easily and uses it is similar temperature waters. One option is if for colder waters you could supplement it with a hooded vest.

THOMAS J Myrna, I don't know why I was asked to answer you, but I bought a mens Neo Sport X-Span wetsuit. I am a man 5'6" ans weight 185 lbs. I really like this suit and it fits great. I purchased this suit because they offered a short stocky size for men. I lift weights and have a large chest and shoulders but short arms and legs. Most suits that fit my chest and shoulders are for men 6' and above making the arms and legs too long. I don't know if this helps.
GUY M My suggestion is a Bare brand wetsuit.
Go by the size chart there are a lot of size options.
With wetsuits the new materials will fit you a lot better .
My wife and I both use Bare and love them 3 mm ,5mm,and 7mm.
