j d Should you size up to use over your full suit or not?
RAYMOND S I like to put any add on layers to my full suit under. I also where the vest by it self when diving warm water. Because of the size of the vest an how much water it let's in I do not belaive it would do much good over anything, so I would say size it dor your skin and not over a suit.
MERVYN D yes you should they are cut pretty tight
JOHN B The vest fits very true to size, so if you are putting over anything thicker than a 1mm you will likely need to size up
JAMES B I have 2 off the one XL and one XXL had to use the XXL so I think its best to size up
j d Thanx people, that helps a lot. I know many say a vest has to go under but my full suit is super tight, warm, and no restriction in shoulder area. A little tough to put on, but it does the job. I just wanted an extra layer to have on hand if I need it. It seems like more of a hassle to remove the vest from underneath than if it is over. Too cold- put it on. Not cold- don't use it. And if it's THAT cold, then I'll have to upgrade to a 7 mm.
Right now, my hood, beanie, gloves and boots are all working as "if needed" extras too.
Anyway, how do you like the Neo? Not too many choices in vests with zippers. I see Body Glove and Henderson also make a 3 mm.
JOHN B Yes. It fits relatively tight. I wear mine under a wetsuit or over a rash guard. I have a small and am 5'9", 160lbs.
BRIAN S Yes. I used over 3mm suit for colder water. One size up in my opinion.
ANTHONY S Hi I bought one about a year ago but I am a big guy and just got the largest they had which seem to be ok over my wet suit. Don't know if this helps

CHRISTOPHER R I purchased the vest for summer use so sizing up for fit over my full suit would defeat that purpose but I can see where it would make a nice accessory for cooler season diving.
