Shopper What does the sm, med, and lrg equate to in 4,5,6?
Monica s Unfortunately National Geographic does not provide us with a size chart for these....So I compared all sizes to another manufacturer:
Small= size 6 which would be approximately 4'2"-4'5" 50-60lbs
Medium= size 8 approx 4'5"-4'8" 60-75lbs
Large= size 12 approx 4'10"-5'1" 95-110lbs
The large oddly was quite a bit larger so this is why you see the jump in size.

Monica s Unfortuately the manufacturer did not provide us with a size chart, in simply looking at them i would say a size medium would work.
Marie G Does this suit provide warmth in cold water? My granddaughter has a cold allergy and must stay warm.
Monica s Well 1.5mm is pretty light weight it will offer some thermal protection however it depends what the water temperature actually is. It might be better to consider a full suit instead of a shorty.
