Shopper I have a icon HD bought few years ago I just bought from you the wireless transmiter, my question is how to make the connection between my dive computer and the transmitter? Do I need to download a software?
DALE F What you have to do is attach the transmitter on te first stage and then connect the first stage to a full tank and then pair the device to transmitter purge the air a bit so it can sense a change in pressure and there you go. Enjoy an I hope this helps. This computer is awesome
MARK F I believe Mares makes (made) two versions of the Icon HD, one that is just the computer, and another that has the air integration capabilities. The older version may not have the air integration capability.
If your computer is the version with air integration, there is a place under the Settings icon that allows you to "pair" the computer with the transmitter. It works a lot like pairing a bluetooth device.
If none of this is in your owner's manual, you may have the wrong version of the computer.
LEONARDO A Take it apart unplug the battery and plug it back in, that should do it.
CHRISTOPHER L Connect the transmitter to your regulator, pressurize the regulator to at least 220psi. Enter the computer's 'Pair Devices' mode and position to within 5ft. You may need two or three attempts. If it doesn't pair after that, then the transmitter battery probably needs replacement, as you mentioned it was purchased a few years ago.
No software updates are required. You can check Mares website for manuals and firmware updates for your computer.

The Transmitter Assembly is easily installed into your first stage regulators High Pressure Port. Once installed you will be able to monitor your cylinder pressure and eliminate your pressure gauge hose, making you more streamline and hydrodynamic. The combination with icon's high definition color display brings tank pressure information to a new level. Detailed numerical information is accompanied by intuitive, at-a-glance color coding. Blue and green means the pressure is above the mid tank warning, red means the pressure is below the reserve, orange and yellow for values in-between. The thresholds are set by the user for maximum customization. Air Integrated computerized monitoring of tank pressure is used to determine a bottom time which depends not only on your depth, but also on your actual gas consumption, increasing your dive safety. In addition, the gas consumption (referred to the surface) is displayed on the computer for more control over your dive. The computer does this via the HP Transmitter attached to your first stage regulator by sampling the pressure drop over time and giving you the rate of consumption in minutes remaining. If the time remaining is greater than the no-decompression limit for your depth it will display the shorter time allowed. The Transmitter is powered by a common CR123 battery and is covered by Mares 24 month limited warranty.
