RICK B As best I can tell, the difference is that the Pro Tec allows you to remove the vest and use it without harness as a lightweight BCD vest.

RYAN S well i'm 6'0'', 190lb and 34 in waist and the medium fits great. i still have plenty of room. i'd say i've got a fit/athletic build so if you're like me i think you could get away with a medium as i've still got plenty of room to spare on the straps and waistband. but i would assume a large would fit too... your call.
TIM L I went with a medium large and just returned from a 7 day dive trip to Bonaire. I loved the BC. It was extremely comfortable and fit perfectly. I'm not as tall or as heavy as you (5'10" and weight ~198) but my waist is about 35". For me the L would have been too big. I had plently of adjustment left in the straps have snuging them down and the velco waist still had tons of way to go to accomodate a much larger person. While the BC is not the lightest travel BC on the market it packs down pretty good and provides lots of good mount points for gear. Good luck.

CECIL B Probably a large would work for you. I'm 6', 185 and 25" waist and the large was fine in a 7mm wet suit. It has quite a bit of adjustment build in.
