Alan M I wear a mens siz 10 shoe what size would i get?
PAM A Regular according to the size chart. I wear XS and they fit great with my thin boot in warm waters and thick boot in cold waters.
FRANK L I would go with regular. My son is a 10 and they fit him perfect with his 3mil boot.
ANDREW E Depends.... if you are 14-15 years old and growing like a weed, then I'd get XL and just tighten them as much as possible because if you go to 11 or especially 12, you will quickly outgrow them. If you are an adult and that's not an issue, the correct size is Large.
CHARLES C It really depends on your boot style and thickness, I would go w/ a large to be safe.

ANDREW E I would go with regular with the thicker boot and a size 8. You are right in between, but it is easier to strap tighter than get your foot in something that is too small.
NICHOLAS M With a 9.5 shoe and regular boot I take reg. with a 5mm boot you may want a larger size?
JAMES B I wear men's size 10 shoe and Henderson Gripper Bootie 7mm (NB65Z-10) size 10 that fits the Mares Avanti X3 size regular. My wife wears women's size 8-8.5 shoe and Henderson Gripper Bootie 7mm (NB65Z-8) size 8 that fits the Mares Avanti X3 size small. The size 8 bootie fits the size small fin nicely without being too tight or sloppy.

RICHARD M PROBABLY THE SAME SIZE BUTTONS - THE MANUFACTURERS SEEM TO STANDARDIZE - IT MAKES SENSE. I AM NOT A MARES USER - BUT HAVE SWAPPED THE FIN STRAPS BETWEEN ARIES AND OTHER BRANDS WITHOUT A PROBLEM..
GREGORY B They have a red locking button that is a little hard to operate but it keeps the buckle form opening while you dive.

GREGORY B Not sure about the spring straps you mentioned but they can be replace with springs. Once again I am not sure of the brand I have, but I do have them on these fins.

JACKSON M I wear a 8.5 men's and i bought a size small. I use 6mm dive boots inside the fins. I hope that helps in you decision making
ZACH W I wear an adult size 11-11.5 and wear a bootie with full rubber sole and rubber toe and heel; I own the x-large. I would suggest going with the regular for a size 6 and the Blue Reef Ultra 5mm Dive Boot with Zipper
GREG L Go one shoe size bigger so the fin will fit well with a dive boot on.
PAM A X Small. My shoe size is size 6 ladies. These are great fins. I have had them for several years and dove with them.
Shopper Do the X3 fins have the buckle system with the red switch in the middle or the system where you squeeze each side of the buckle to release it?
ZACH W I have to disagree with Warren, I love how the snap works. It is very easy to put on and off in waves for beach snorkling and very easy in open water to do one handed as well. But, to each his own.
GREGORY B The pair I got for my grandson had the red switch or safety lock on them. by the way this is a great fin that will last and last if they are still like the ones we have.
WARREN B these have the red switch in the middle that locks the buckle release...i have to tell you, i don;t like how the buckle unsnaps..it's not easy. i do like the flippers but i would not purchase them again. i hope this helps.
Shopper What are the dimensions of the small fin?
FREDDIE H When I turn the fins over and measure the bottom they are 23 1/4 inches. They are large enough for me to wear with boots and are fine without. I wear a size 10 shoe. I do love them. Highly recommend. Good luck.

Does anyone else think that is super lazy of Leisure pro not to be able to waddle down to the warehouse and get a measurement ?
Shopper Are these good for snorkeling with no boots?
MARK F Like all open heel fins they will be much much more comfortable with boots. If you are only using them without boots I would strongly recommend a full foot fin. That being said; they are good fins and will work without boots fine.
GREGORY B Not in my opinion. The foot pocket is too stiff and I think you would end up with a blister. However you may be able to get away with wearing neoprene socks.
GREG L There not to comfy with out boots, but waring an old pair of thick socks would help.
SCOTT K The fins are fine with booties, but do not think I would recommend without. If not using booties, I would recommend a full foot fin.
DAVID H In my opinion, no. They're great for diving or snorkeling, but you'll need booties. The 'box' is fairly firm with a very square and flat bottom. Otherwise, good fins, and can be used for both activities, but with booties.
MARY O You will need boots for open heel fins they are all made to be worn with boots. Buy "full foot fins" if you wish to purchase no boots. If you are wanting to get serious about snorkeling often or intend to start diving,nice boots and open heel fins are a better investment, you can walk on rough terrain to and from the water with the boots on and put the fins on in the water. You also will not get your heels scraped up by the full foot fin. I own these fins and they are nice.
