Shopper Hello I wear a size women 6.5 and my husband wears a size men 10.5 what fin size do you recommend? Thanks.
MATTHEW B I generally wear a men's size 8.5 sneaker/shoe... I purchased the size 6.5-7.5 fin. The size 8-9 was too big and would slip off my foot. I would suggest going a size smaller than your street shoe size. When properly sized, they are great fins that we use for snorkeling.
MARK M I wear a size 12 shoe, and like the size 8-9 HP. The sizes definetely run large. The 8-9 is very tight on my foot, but that is how I prefer it- though it can be a bit uncomfortable for the first week or so, while it is wearing in. For 10.5, I'd probably recommend the next size down, or, 8-9 with a neoprene sock.
JAVIER Q There's a size chart right next to the button for choosing color and size. I found them to be true to size.

GLENN D I have a pair of size 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 and they are 24 inches long overall. For me this size fits perfectly even though my actual shoe size is 8 1/2.
ALVIN L They are slightly longer than your standard fins. That said they are by no means short on performance. These fins will suffice at most all task. I'll bet to say they will become some of your most favored fins. They are short enough to aid in travel and flexible enough to squeeze into luggage. I always keep a set as backup when I go free diving n spearfishing.

JAY Y They do run large. I have a US 11-12 foot and use the US 9 1/2-10 1/2 fins. That's the size I use in a pool. If I were to use them where I might have to walk on a beach or reef I would buy them one size large so I could walk with aquasocks and then put the fins over them. These are great fins- they last along time, are priced well, and have the most comfortable foot pocket I've come across. Hope this was in time to help.

Leisure Pro has asked me to answer your question based on my experience with the Mares Avanti HP Full Foot Fins. Firstly, I love my fins. Secondly, I find that they do run a bit big. I wear an 8 or 8.5 shoe size and my fins are size 6-7. They fit well. I work at a dive shop and I fit people in fins all the time. When guests tell me their shoe size, I always look at their foot as well. If you have a narrow foot I would go a size smaller than your shoe size, but if you have a wide foot I would stick with your normal size. I hope this is helpful to you.

R WESTON M I wear a mens 10 1/2 shoe usa. I use a fin size 6 1/2- 7 1/2 from this manufacturer. I play Underwater Hockey twice a week. I wish to have the fin very snug. They will still slide off from time to time. Purchase smaller we always tell new players or have them try some elses first. Good luck with your choice

CHRIS T I wear size 11 shoes and 6.5-7.5 HP fins. However, I like my fins tight, so I would recommend the 8-9 size fins for you.
WENDY W They fit my husband and nineteen year old nephew fine...for my fourteen year old nephew...he wears them with neoprene booties on inside. Your narrow female foot might require this too.
They are awesome flippers overall.
KENNETH G Order the 44-45 91/2-101/2 size unless your foot is very wide then the 46-47 11-12. We use these fins daily for our customers here in Hawaii and for most people with your size foot the 11-12 are too big.
LUIGI V Mine definitely feel a little big but good with boots. Id say never hurts in these to err on the side of the smaller size.
M M Hi Everyone, I need a wide full foot fin. I wear a 9 1/2 EE shoe. I plan on using these without a sock or boot, barefoot. I have the open heal Mares Avanti Quatro. Would the 8-9 be the right size? Does anyone have another recommendation? I just attempted purchase of the inexpensive Tusa Xpert Zoom FF-19 which was way too narrow AND way too long (lol) and had to be returned. Thanks, Mark
MAURICE S I have wide feet to 11EEE and the 9 1/2 to 10 1/2 fit me well but I still like to ware a thin nylon sock because I swim alot (25 miles a week). These are great fins and hold-up better then any other I've tried.

TERRY S I wear a size 9 or 9 1/2 D shoe, and the HP size 8-9 fits perfectly. With an EE width foot, the 8-9 might be a bit tight.
Shopper I wear a women's size 8 in regular shoes, what size fin should i get?
CASEY A My wife wears a shoe size 7.5 or 8. She ordered the size 40-41 / 6.5-7.5 fin. It fits a little large on her foot and she has to wear a thin water sock to make them snug. She suggests that if you are a "large" size 8 foot, the above size should be fine, but if you are closer to a 7.5, she would suggest getting the next fin size down from 6.5-7.5 (US).
ALVIN L I would suggest the 40-41 since you are female and you claim to wear a size 8. These fins will fit snug but are one of the most comfortable fins u will ever use. I freedive and use other fins but I always keep a pair of these as a backup fin for years now.
AGNES D I bought mens fin size 6.5 - 7.5 for my son who normally wears about a 9.5 mens shoe. My husband wears a size 11 shoe and I bought him the 8-9 fin. My best guess for a women's shoe size 8 would be the women's fin size 6-7.

MICHAEL M If you like the fins to feel snug and secure on your feet go with the 6.5 - 7.5. If you think loose is OK, go the 8-9.
I actually use the Volo Race myself and I love them but my wife and daughter use the Avanti and they wear them a size smaller then their shoe size.

LeisurePro S I would recommend the 9.5-10.5. You are usually safe going down about one size. And since you are going to be in warm water w/o a boot. you would want the fin to fit a little snugger.
