LESLIE M alternative to the full suit. didn't work.
MARIA D I bought this looking for an added layer of warmth under my 3 mm wetsuit. It is a bit expensive, but it was worth the money.
Shopper My measurements fall in to size 10 but weight falls into size 12. Height is 5'5'' but long torso. What size should I get?
LESLIE M It is great for swimming, by the way.
LESLIE M I am a size 4-6, so I went for the smaller size - that said, I am short-waisted, so keep that in mind ... I found that the neck was very tight and felt constricting, so perhaps the larger size would cure that little problem?
SCOTT B Probably want to go larger. My wife returned her LavaCore because it was too small. There is not a lot of stretch to the material and the arms and chest are not made for a top-heavy woman. That does not answer your question directly but I hope it helps. For me, the shirt is nice for warm water but shows wear after only 6 dives.
EMILY S My Lavacore shirt is a XS2. I'm 95-100 lbs, 4' 11", bust 32, hips 34, waist 25.
And I tried it on but it's pretty snug. I even had a little trouble taking it off myself and I was dry. I haven't actually worn it diving yet so I can't tell you how it feels.
CHRISTINE C You want it tight or else water will get in so you may want to consider the 10.
MARIA D Not completely certain, but I would go with measurements. This is supposed to be snug, otherwise it doesn't keep you warm. Following measurements should give you a better fit. Weight can vary for numerous reasons; water retention, more muscle mass than the average female, etc.

Kathy H Looking for a top and bottom to wear over swimsuit for winter swimming in Hawaii. Temperature ranges from high 60's to mid 70's. I have bad shoulders. Is it easy to get on and off?
Monica s It is soft, and pretty flexible material, so it should be ok, but that is quite subjective what would be easy and not easy for someone especially if you have bad shoulders.
