BEN D I believe the stringer spike is between 5-6 inches
DOMINIC K If i remember correctly it is about 6 inches. Good for small bass all the way up to to a large striper or musky.
MICAH G Not long I don't really remember exactly I wanna say 4 maybe 5 inches. I gave it away. If you are going to rod and reel in shallow water this is okay but I would never use this for spearfishing. The spike is not long enough to brain a fish the cable will rip up the fish while you swim and it is to short of a line to hold all your fish at a good distance.

The JBL Competition Fish Stringer is made of stainless steel with mono filament cable. Easy to use the stringer; stringer bar is placed through the fishes gill cover and out its mouth, than simply thread bar through the stainless loop to secure fish. Once fish is secured you can attach stringer loop to your buoy or weight belt.
