ROBERTO D It is made of plastic. It fits a 1.5 inch diameter.
WILLIAM R The inside diameter is exactly 1 inch (or 25.4mm). The ring is plastic (quite thick). I am not sure what a YS adapter is but I use it on a standard strobe arm to mount a UK Super Q eLED dive light.
GREG M I would say about an inch. The ring is plastic with a metal insert for the screw which is metal with a plastic twist knob. I am not sure about your third question.
RICHARD K I have the Intova IFLWA light mounted to the adapter, the diameter is 1.045 inches or 26.5mm. I am using it with a YS adapter. The adapter is made of plastic
