Shopper Is this the PX35?
TIM G Not sure what you mean. I know this cable is the same one as the Fantasea Nano's cable but without the small adapter on the end that comes with the Fantasea cable kit. Both companies put out identical strobes, probably built buy someone else and each put their own name on it.
Shopper Does this work with a sea&sea YS-01 strobe?
GRAHAM T Assumming you are using the Intova camera / water proof case and the YS-01 strobe is an opticaly triggered slave flash I don't see why it shouldn't work.
If you're using a different camera and/or case then it depends on wether you can fit the plain (non velcroed) end of the cable to your camera or case.
The diameter of the Intova fibre optic cable is approx. 2.32mm(0.092").

YOLANDA T I do not know. I am using it with an Intova strobe.
TIM G I doubt if it will. This is a pretty simplified system. The end of the cable is bare at's held in place over the flash sensor. Very basic and can be a little fickle if not lined up right. Hope this helps.
STACEY S I used this on an Intova camera, it appeared to work okay. I just didn't care a lot for the camera set up so I brought a different camera and didn't use optic cable on the new one. Didn't have to with the dual flash set up I have now.

NORM M I am not sure as I don't know the actual shape of the optical cable connection on the front of the YS-01 strobe. I adapted this cable to a YS-90dx and just filed the white plastic end of the cable to fit over the strobe input on the front of the strobe and fastened it on with velcro. Has worked well for a number of years.
But, the YS-01 uses the type "L" cable and I don't know if the cheaper cable could be adapted.
My guess,,,, It is worth trying based on the huge difference in price between the Intova and the type "L"!!

ALEX H It should work but it also depends on the type of camera you're using. This fiber optic cable has two different ends. One end is the plug that goes into the camera, and the other end is the velcro strip that you attach to the housing of your camera over the flash. The Velcro part wouldn't work with my housing so I removed the velcro end and made my own plug to attach to my houseing.
Shopper does this fiber cable will work with my canon a720 and the fantesa double set?

Whats in the box:Fiber Optic Cable and Mounting Hex Key Intova Fiber Optic Cable is an easy Velcro attachment for slave strobe activation. Particularly useful in ultra clear water where light from internal (on camera) flash can dissipate rapidly and not activate slave strobe. The fiberoptic cable is connected between an Intova ISS4000 Strobe INTISS and a camera (by placing Velcro pad on the waterproof housing in front of or near the on-camera flash) attached to Intova's mount system. The cable can also be used with most other brands of waterproof strobes on other mount systems.
