NOVUS plastic polishers are ideal for removal of light scratches* from Ikelite acrylic dome and flat ports. Not recommended for use on coated plastics.

NOVUS #1 gently cleans most types of plastics without scratching. Novus #1 leaves a lustrous shine that resists fogging, repels dust and eliminates static.

NOVUS #2 removes very fine scratches, haziness and abrasions from most plastics. Not recommended for use on coated plastics.

NOVUS #3 removes heavier scratches and abrasions from most acrylic surfaces. Not recommended for use on polycarbonates or coated plastics.

* Removal of scratches not guaranteed. Results will vary depending on depth of scratches and method of applying polish. Ports with deep scratches should be returned to Ikelite for repair or replacement.

Recommended Use:

Take your system diving before attempting to polish out your scratches. Often scratches will fill in with water and remain invisible in most photos.

Ikelite recommend starting with NOVUS #2 on a clean acrylic surface. Apply only light pressure. Pressing too hard when polishing may leave permanent "swirls" in the surface. NOVUS #3 is fairly abrasive and we recommend mixing with #2 for use on heavier scratches. Ports with deep scratches should be returned to Ikelite for repair or replacement.
