Whats in the box:Smart Charger, USA Plug, Euro Plug, UK Plug and Australian Plug The Ikelite Smart Charger is ideal for the traveling underwater photographer. Auto-ranging input allows the charger to work in any country whose electrical system falls within a 100V - 240V range. AC adapters for the following regions are included: USA, Europe, United Kingdom, and Australia. The Smart Charger is configured to charge both Ni-cad and NiMH battery packs. The charger showcases the latest pulse charge technology; this feature grants near complete charging while also conditioning cells over time, resulting in longer battery life and more flashes per charge. Its "trickle" charge mode helpsmaintain a pack's charge without danger of overheating. In addition, this charger is less likely to fail when used with poorly regulated power sources. The Smart Charger measures 2.7" x 4.1" x 1.5" (6.9 cm x 10.4 cm x 3.8 cm) and weighs only 12 oz (0.34kg). The LED light on its front indicates when the unit is powered on and what the current state of charge is. The charger plugs directly into the Substrobe DS125, DS160, DS161, 100A, Ai and Substrobe DS200 Ni-MH or Ni-Cad packs. The Substrobe DS125, DS160 and DS161 charges completely in 1.5 hours, the Substrobe DS 200 in 2.5 hours and the 100A and Ai recharge in 4 hours. The Substrobe 150, 225, 300 and 400 packs require #4063.51 adapter and charge in 5 hours. Other rechargeable lights and recharge times are as follows: Super C-Lite HR recharge time: 2.5 hours RCD HR recharge time: 4 hours RCD Super-8R recharge time: 5 hours Modular Super-Lite recharge time: 5 hours (Newer battery packs only) Modular Video-Lite recharge time: 5 hours (Newer battery packs only) Video-Lite 45 and Modular Super Lite Ni-cad packs are now supplied with a secondsocket to accept the Smart Charger. The charger is configured to charge packs of SIX Ni-cad "C" or "D" cells only. It can be used on our Super C-Lite HRechargeable, and it can be used with the Sea & Sea 300 strobe. It could be used on a SB-104, but our plug is not compatible. It is not adaptable to four-cell packs, but can be used with our rechargeable RCD Lite and the optional Ni-cad packs for our Substrobe Ai and Substrobe 100a because of the special diode configuration in these packs.

Since you're camera only comes with the USB cord that allows you to plug it intothe USB port of your computer to charge it and transfer information, what do youdo to recharge when you don't have your laptop or PC available? This JVC USB AC Adapter allows you to plug the USB cord into a standard US outlet to charge the camera.
