Questions about this item:
Shopper Hi..I am 6' 3", 190 lbs, chest 42 and waist is 35.. I checked the chart and it looks like xl-long (not available here) or xxl best fits. However I still worry about the height a bit. Any suggestions? Thank you very much in advance..
STEVEN K Not really. I'm 5'10" and find the ML a comfortable fit. At 6'3" you probably have a better idea if xl-long or xxl fits better. If you want my guess, I'd suggest xl-long to avoid excess material.Happy diving.
GREGORY P At 6'3" I think the XXL might be too short as I am 6'1" and it is marginally long enough in the XXL. Also, I am about 200lbs and 36 waist and suggest an XLT might be pretty tight generally. A XXLT is probably a best solution. I am happy with my suit though and wore it yesterday staying quite warm in 61degree water and 58 degree air with wind. Good luck!
SEAN B xxl should fit you fine. i'm 6'3, 275 lbs and i wear the 3xl and the limbs are a bit long on me. my cousin is 6'5 225 and he wears xxl in most suit brands so i don't think height will come into play at your size
Shopper Hi there, what size would you recommend if I'm exactly 6" high and around 180 pounds? I'm skinny. Thanks!
BART A I think large would be good
ERIC P Large, I am 5' 11" 185 lbs and large fits me nicely.
SEAN B hi there, i'm 6'3, 280lbs and the 3xl fits me great. i think the sizing chart is pretty accurate on this model, i would imagine a large tall would fit you perfectly.
Anthony V Would you recommend this suit for scuba diving?
FOREST B I can't comment on scuba diving - I use mine for canyoneering. It was highly recommended in the canyoneering community online. It works great at keeping me warm in icy pools deep in the bowels of a canyon. It's also very flexible and comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
LAWRENCE T It depends on where you are scuba diving as well as the temperature and depth of the water. I use my suit for surfing in Southern California during the winter months when surface temps usually average in the mid-to-upper 50s. It's a very comfortable suit to wear while surfing in these conditions.
SEAN B i don't scuba but the seams flush when duck diving, your wrist and ankle cuffs will expand and flush water. good suit for the money. use it for longboarding milder days in the winter on the coast in central CA.
STEVEN K Absolutely, yes. Very comfortable in Caribbean water. Holding up well over several dive trips.
VERONICA M I only use the suit for surfing. . . cannot make a recommendation for scuba diving.
MATT R I purchased this suit to use for fishing. I can tell you that it is very comfotable as I wear it for hours and do not notice any binding or chaffing.
It is warm in the water, but I am typically not totally submerged for a long time.
In general, I really like the suit and think it is a great buy at this price.
kurt n would this wet suit work well if I surfed at Huntington Beach, CA?
Brett H For the colder times of year it would be perfect, in the warmer times of the year it will be a little bit more suit than you would need. It is probably best suited for sept/oct to april/may water temps.
Randy S Would you recommend this suit for windsurfing? If not, could you recommend one under $200. Thanks
HAZEL F I bought this wetsuit for my husband to use surfing in cool water on Cape Cod, it is a great wetsuit for the price and I think it would be a great choice for windsurfing too, it is very flexible and very warm. I think this is about the best wetsuit available at this price point! He has been very happy with it.
Randy S Thanks for the reply. The water gets a little cool in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin this time of the year.
HAZEL F I would recommend a 4/3 for water below 65'. Have fun!
ROBERT M I've never been wind surfing but I used this suit for wakeboarding and it was great. It gave alot of flexibility while keeping me very warm!!
Shopper Does this wetsuit have zippered wrists & ankles?
HAZEL F No it doesn't but it is still easy to get on and off....
LeisurePro S This suit does not have zippered wrists or ankles.
