Shopper Is this good for diving in 45-50 degree F water ?
ZHIKAI C I used this pair of gloves for my dive trip to galapagoes. It was comfortable and felt warm enough.
DAMIR M It works, but sooner or later if you a diving dry suit you will have to go to dry gloves. I dive rebreather and after long dive 2-3 hours in cold water finger tips getting really cold. For shorter dive no problem.
Miyuki S It depends on your cold tolerance, but this is appropriate for the temperature range.
TRACEY E It depends on how you do in cold water. I can last about an hour with these gloves in 41 degree water.
LUKE R Ye, they work very well for that range.
MICHELLE M I've used them in 39 degree water. Winter diving after about a 1/2 an hour your hands start to feel a little chilly but they are the best wet gloves I've tried for keeping your hands warm.

FREDRICKA H the 5mm would be alright for short dives. if you doing a deco dive a 7mm Mitt type glove might be better....
AUSTIN H 45-50 should be fine for these and other 5mm gloves. Although in my opinion this depends a lot on the diver. If you stay pretty warm generally when at these temps you may find this thickness bulky, and more difficult when using a Camera or Speargun. But if your cooler most of the times during your dive, then a glove in the 5-7mm range is what you want.
C L These are quite "snug" to get on when dry and new. Will they in time "loosen up" a little?
BRIAN F They loosen a little but not much the snugness deff helps in picking up small objects. I've got the 5mm and have dived 50s deg water all day and stayed warm. The stiffness kind of keeps your fingers in a natural poss but if your working with them alot they might start to get tired due to the snugness but you'll be warm and in most waters have to let cool water in every once in a while.
JOHN C No. They are meant to be snug and will stay that way...Fill a small spray bottle with soapy water. Spray 1 or 2 times into each glove before putting on. Gloves will slide right on.
BLAINE N No, Instra Dry Material is notoriously hard to get on. I have a couple suits and the only way to get them on without great skin loss is to lubricate with diluted baby shampoo. Good once on, but difficult.
STEPHEN B I stoped wearing them: too stiff
IAN S If sized right they are snug and do not loosen up, they are very warm and will dry quite quickly. However I found they wear really fast on the finger tips with holes appearing after only about 30-40 dives. Even if you are careful they seem to wear quickly. I went through 3 pairs in about 18 months of diving.
They also have a tendency to tear very easily around the wrist area when trying to pull them on. The seams also separate too easily.
