How would these socks work for snow skiing?
I have not used them for skiing, but it sound like an interesting idea.
I'm pretty sure they would keep you warm. However, they will soak up moisture, so I would place a wicking layer next to the skin before these
Have fun in the snow !
They're designed for use in the water, where it doesn't matter if it's wet inside the boot. If you use it on land, you'll probably get soaked feet from sweat because there's no breathability.
They are about the same thickness of a decent pair of wool socks. Only drawback will be massive sweating of the feet and all that sweat will be trapped in the socks. I use these for my free diving fins which are full pocket, but I 'm in the water so the sweating is not a factor. But they will keep your feet warm.
Not sure how much warmth they would provide not being in water
I bought and used them for freediving but as an occasional snow skier my ansswer would be not good because you need/want socks that will breath. These would get too warm and cause sweat and ultimately colder feet IMHO.
I don't really know. I'm not familiar with snow skiing, but I'm thinking they aren't the height of snow boots if that's what you're looking for. Not waterproof, either.
