Shopper Is there any info on how much buoyancy, if any, this would add my rig? I currently dive a Hollis S25 wing mounted on a Hollis aluminum BP w/ a Med/Lg size Hollis Elite II harness & Zeagle weight pockets. My rig is comfortable when I'm wearing my wetsuit (Pinnacle 3mm full w/a thick spine pad) but when I've worn it w/just a rash guard in the pool (haven't actually dove w/out wetsuit yet) the hard plate is uncomfortable against my back.
MARK G I did not notice any difference in my buoyancy with the backpad. it's more of a cover and does not have much, if any padding. It does help with the backplate against my back.
MICHAEL V i am using the same rig except for the weightpockets (using dive rite) and i didnt notice any change to my bouyancy with the pad. there might be a slight change but if so it is so insignificant i woulnt worry about it
