I filled the tank through yoke filler, the gauge shows around 2000psi. Does that sound right? at 2000psi means it is full?

The H2Odyssey tank is a 3000 psi tank so it technically is not "full". That being said; did you check the pressure in the tank that was filling the H2Odyssey prior to the actual fill? I bet it was somewhere above the 2000 psi mark. Just remember that if you're filling from a larger bottle using the yoke fill setup then you will basically be equalizing the pressures between the two tanks. Since the H2Odyssey would be empty to start off with that void has to be filled. Basically if you take a specific volume of gas at a given pressure within a confined space (ie. the large bottle) and then add more space (ie. H2Odyssey's 6 cubic feet); said gas will expand to occupy the entire space, but will do so at a lower pressure as long as the temperature remains the same. This is just basic gas law practice. I have tried again
I checked my 15 LTR tank which was around 3300psi, the H2Odyssey was around 2000psi from the last fill.
I filled again through the yoke setup.
The H2Odyssey went up to 2500psi then slowly dropped to 2200psi. I couldnt get it to 3000psi.
I checked my 15 LTR tank again, it is now down to 2200psi.
During the filling process, lots of excess air went out from the yoke filler.
Please kindly advice why

CARLOS A Kuan: I had my H2Odyssey Extra Air Source 3 inspected and filled by a professional Scuba shop. It reads 3,000 pounds per square inch (psi). I suggest you contact H2Odyssey and obtain the instructions and have it inspected at a Scuba shop. My opinion about the pressure reading: 1) maybe the main air tank you used to fill your H2Odyssey had less than 3,000 psi. If this was the case, your H2Odyssey would read no more than the pressure in the source tank. Example: If the tank you used had 2,000psi, your H2Odyssey would read a little less than 2,000psi (approx. 1,750psi, if my math is correct). You are sharing air pressure from a 80 cf (source tank) with a 6 cf. (H2Odyssey), therefore the pressure will drop on the main tank and both tanks should read the same psi. 2) Or, you could have a leak on your regulators (or hoses)... I have a slow leak on my 2nd stage regulator. 3) Or, you may have a bad pressure gauge. Try installing another pressure gauge to the 1st. stage regulator (release all the air from the H2Odyssey or make sure the air valve is closed before removing the "plugs" on the 1st stage or you could experience a 2,000psi of air explosion on your face or worse) to verify the psi reading is correct. A Scuba shop can give you a better answer because I have not used my H2Odyssey for diving yet . Hope this helps. Happy diving.

I am a air only diver, I should defer this to H2Odyssey customer servise/tech support. My training for Enriched Air is not yet complete, and from what I have learned from the tank manufacturers is that the tank of this unit arrives to the purchaser in Nitrox ready (clean) condition, once you put your equipment into service for one particular use (nitrox) , then it needs to stay in that particular use only (designated-labeled-specifically) . If you have the capability to fill tanks with enriched mixtures at home you must be an advanced diver ? My end use of this product was to mount the regulator/fill valve combo on a 19 cf bottle, remove the second stage from the side of regulator, attach standard octo setup, mount to side of main tank with X-Scuba's "Pony Tamer", I have 3- tanks set up with this, I beleive in a real redundant system. Wish you the best on working this out, good diving!

JOSEPH S The packaging for the EAS 3 indicates the kit has been cleansed for Nitrox. I only put Nitrox in mine.

Since you are wanting to fill with a mixture less than 40% O2 the normal equipment standard do not require special handling, such as Viton Orings, etc. I would assume it would be fine. You may want to confirm with the manufacturer on this. My past experience with them is that they are readily accessible and will answer your questions.
I assume your interest in filling it with Nitrox is simply a function of whip filling it from your existing tank that is filled with Nitrox. The H2Odyssey is a "Bail-Out" bottle for last resort and nothing more. WIth only 6cf capacity it isn't intended to to be used as a stage or deco gas source. There is just enough to do an ascent from 100' deep assuming a normal ascent rate to avoid any issues.
DON H You may fill with Nitrox up to 40 percent off a regular scuba tank, or premix up to 40 percent. Hope that answers question.
