WALTER C Hello The Genesis Omni is for Males -- the vests made specifically for females typically have a swivel joint of some kind on the straps as well as other features -- see the Agua Lung Libra and similar. I like the genesis ... large lift, 30# weight capacity for winter wetsuits and back buoyancy. Note: these are features that may not be priorities for women divers. Good Luck
NICOLE K My husband and I both have this BCD. It looks like this is the male version as the female version has a subtle floral design on the weight pockets. For what it's worth, we both love it!

RAYMOND S I'm a male and the bc fits me just fine,it is a back inflation that takes some getting used to,due the fact when you are on the surface it tends to roll you on you face.my next bc will not be a back inflation.
JEREMIE C This was purchased for my little brother who is 5'10ft and 150 lbs. He Has been really happy with it. We dive the great lakes and Florida with it often. I would say that this bc could be for female or males. There are few specific things on bc's that I have found that make it gender specific. I recommend this overall.
VP165030 K This is a male BCD. However, it is pretty comfortable for female unless you have a huge chest area.
JEFF A Either, I'm a male but I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be perfectly acceptable for a female. I have been completely satisfied with this BCD. Very sturdy
CHRIS S I would consider it unisex or gender neutral. I (a male) have worn it, I have also loaned it to females who had no fit/comfort issues with it.
JOHN J I used the Omni BCD for recreational diving. As an XL Male it worked very well. I imagine that a female can use it as well as long as the size is correct.

The Omni is prepared for any diving condition. Warm or temperate waters, the Omni is a weight integrated BC equipped with the CRQ2 weight ReleaseSystem, and two non-releasing rear pockets. Able to facilitate 30lbs (13.6kg) total weight with 10lbs (4.54kg) in each of the CRQ2 releasable pockets and 5lbs(2.27kg) in the non-releasable rear trim pockets this BCD will work with both wet or dry suit diving. The Omni is durable with its 1050D Denier ballistic nylon construction. The cummerbund has an adjustable elastic material that is depth compensating to prevent jacket ride-up at depth. Jacket also comes equipped with an adjustable and removable sternum strap all to give a comfortable custom fit. Stability of your cylinder is achieved with exclusive Genesis MinPac, dual cam-lock tank straps and adjustable tank locator strap. Need to store something, not a problem with the two large zippered closure utility pockets. The Genesis power inflator with rapped pull dump, LP Inflator Hose and a rear pull dump with ball pull cord makes trimming your buoyancy quick and easy in any position underwater or on the surface. The BCD comes with two Akona Quick Clip system attachments and grommets in the pockets for retractors cables. The BCD has two stainless steel D-Rings and is designed to except the Genesis BCD Pro Accessory Kit (see SKU: GNSRK) to complete your accessory needs and give you a streamline environmentally friendly profile.
