man m is the skirt made of silicone or plastic?

PAUL B I believe it is silicone. The information that came with it did not indicate material.
We have two Scuba Pro Crystal Vue which state the skirt is silicone.
I purchased the Genesis SM5800 Tri-View as a spare for when we go on vacation. The cost is much better than the Scuba Pro.
I did one dive to check out the Genesis. It performed the same as the Scuba Pro.
Other than the labelling on the masks, when you place them side by side they are identical.
I would purchase the Genesis again with out a doubt.

GREG A Great mask for the price. It has a silicone shield and excellent glass. I have dove with it from 40 to 120 feet in the Carribean and Hawaii. Np problems so far. Don't think you can go wrong if it fits. Great visibility as well!
BARBARA B The skirt is made of a soft silcone. This mask is one of the best fitting with a wide range of view that I have owned. I have a fairly small face with narrow set between my eyes, and this mask is great. Comfortable and it has held up well.
ANDREA R Yes, silicone all the way around except for the lense. This is my favorite mask because of the clear views in my peripheral vision thanks to the tri-window design. Pluse the window is seamless, another big bonus. I highly recommend this mask!

AL W silicone. very comfortable mask. spend a few more dollars and replace the factory strap with a neoprene 'slap strap' kind. i bought the clear one and it lets in plenty of light.
Shopper concerned about it fitting my face properly seeing that I am an adult with a round face. would this mask be a good fit?

Shopper My girlfriend is afraid that she needs a smaller size. When we went to a scuba store they gave her what looked to be a kids size. Shes 5'8" and weighs 135. Can she use the same size as an average size man?
LeisurePro S She should be able to use most adult masks. Kids gear would be too small.
Shopper Does this mask also come with a purge valve? One commenter mentioned the purge, but those I have seen are without.
