ELIZBETH L I bought this recently and carry between 14-16 (total) pounds regularly. I haven't had any problems w that weight.
VICTOR S Yes, you can fit up to 10 lb in each pocket
SAMER S i put 6 lbs on each side, and there is still room for some more, so I would say yes
JODY B We had up tp 10 lbs we pour our own lead 7 works best as the pocket will not deform. Try shot lead in splits small enough to keep shape and you are fine. Gteat bcd
Shopper are the external weight pockets functional? ive always used belt???
Ben T Yes they are very functional. They hold six pounds each and make the dive in general more comfortable than wearing a weight belt.
