Shopper does this gauge come with the hose?
BRIAN S When I purchased it back in 2008 it did not come with a hose.
ROBERT K I believe it does and I believe it is full length. I use these for stage bottles and have to order the nice short 6" hoses separately.
ROBERT G Yes. This has a connecting hose.
NICHOLAS D The Crfessi Mini SPG, come complete w/hose. i have used other SPG's but this by far is the lightest complete set of guages i've used. It easily clips to the D ring on you BC, i use a retractable cord and this SPG is light enough so it doesn't creep. If you allow it to simply dangle it is still light enough as to not be a bother. I'm and intermedioate level recreational diver and highly recommend the Cressi Mini SPG
BRYAN O Yes. I don't have the SPG in front of me right now to measure, but I'm a big guy and it's plenty of hose. I use this SPG as a backup to a Suunto wireless computer.
STEVE M Mine came with a hose when I bought it about two years ago. You will be pleased with this little gem that fits in the palm of your hand and tucks easily in your BC. My 62 year old eyes have no problem reading the numbers.

Shopper I've been looking at descriptions on here but I can't seem to find out what the face is made of? Is it plastic, tempered glass?
GREGORY M I don't have it any longer but i beleive it was tempered glass. either way it was a very nice SPG.
KENT K Plastic, I use this as backup for air integrated computer, keep it tucked in bc pocket. It's a bit small for a primary. Nice little gauge.
THOMAS D The face is made of plastic. I have been using this as a backup to a wireless integrated computer for about 3 years now and am very happy with it.
ROBERT K I am pretty sure it is plastic. In my experience, if you muck around alot or cave dive alot, the suface starts to pick up some scratches, but is still pretty legible underwater. I think the design has plenty of strengh to avoid crushing at recreational depths, in case that is part of your concern.
Shopper Can the hose be changed to Miflex?
CHUCK C Yes, as long as you are using a standard coupling the hose makes no difference --rubber or miflex.
DENNIS A I don't think so unless you destroy the plastic/rubber housing that holds the gauge. I had the same idea but didn't see an easy way of taking it apart. I thought I may trash it so I left it as is. Maybe a dealer knows how to take it apart.

The Mini-Manometer pressure gauge luminescent dial reads from 0-to 5000 psi. The instruments face is divided into three different colored zones: the area from 600 psi and below is highlighted in red with a solid bar and red stripes. If gauge is used on deeper dives, the red scale extends and fades to 1,300 psi. This provides for added reserve air indication required at greater depths. From 600 to approximately 3,000 psi is green and from 3,000 to end of scale is blue. The front glass lens is made to act as a pressure relief valve. In the event of a sudden increase in pressure inside the instrument, the glass rises slightly, allowing the excess pressure to escape. The instruments are housed in a small, modern shaped console boot, made from polycarbonate and desmopan, (a thermoplastic polyurethane) two materials that guarantee protection from shocks, scratches and which, at the same time, is very lightweight.
