man m How is this mask for people with smaller heads/faces?
man m I just wish I would have bought black. Live and learn. Haven't tried them out yet. Just recently learned that it cuts down on the glare from the sun. But it will be great for use in murky lakes. So that's something.

THOMAS W The mask skirt is very flexible and seals excellent on many face types. I have trained multiple people from chubby faces to skinny faces and no leaks or discomfort. The mask skirt is long lasting and remains supple. I have used mine for over 200 dives in salt and fresh water and it has never let me down. Highly recommend this mask to anyone.

JEFFREY W I might not be the one to ask, according to my wife i have a giant head! Seriously though this mask fits me fine, i do have facial hair so it leaks a little at depth but i would recommend this mask.
Shopper Does this have the protective layer on the lenses and if yes, how do I remove them? I have read that I need to apply regular toothpaste on the inside of the mask and rub it and leave it for 3-4 hours and then clean it? Does this work? If not, please advise on another method.
DEBORAH G I used this mask and had no problem with the protective layer..I did not have to do any thing special to it and it worked fine. I do know what you are talking about because the mask my husband bought kept fogging on him. Mine was fine.
NIKOLETTA B There's no protective layer. You should only have to apply toothpaste once before you use the mask for the first time. Wash the toothpaste off after it dries. I usually use defogger before each dive, and that works just fine.
PRESTON P Use "paste" type toothpaste, not gel. Scrub heavily with your fingertip, then rinse and wash up pretty good. Some people have had good luck with SoftScrub. Your mask MAY get oily again from skin oils and buildup of anti-fog, so you may need to occasionally clean it again.
ERIC W I cleaned it with a bit of toothpaste, rubbing it quite vigorously then washed it clean with water before first use. Have used it on 75+ dives. Mask has been a joy to use, good range of vision, no issue with flooding nor with fogging.
DENNIS B Not sure about the protective coating on the inside but I did apply the toothpaste as I always do to a new mask but I did not leave it on more than a few minutes. Wiped it out, rinsed it and the mask works great. This is the second one of these I have had and of the six masks I have had during my dive career this is far and away the best.
BURTON O All dive masks have a residue that will contribute to fogging if the mask is not properly treated - it is a by-product of manufacture - its not purposely added to the mask. Before using your mask, remove all labels, then using either a non-gel toothpaste or a product like 500 PSI?s Mask Scrub solution rub in a circular motion on both lens, on both sides. Make sure you apply it on the entire lens surface. Leave it on for a few minutes then rinse off with plenty of water. Then, before each dive apply a defogger (your own spit, commercial defoggers or a drop of baby soap), rinse and dive. If for some reason your mask fogs during your dive, (which is rare for me), flood your mask, clear your mask and it will not fog for the rest of your dive. Good luck and enjoy.
