Questions about this item:
Shopper Why Did You Choose This?
CHRISTOPHER A I bought these because they fit my budget. They were a great purchase and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a decent fin at a reasonable price. Not recommended for dry suit use though.
PETE J Introducing my son to snorkeling, he's got the basics down, but hard to find quality gear in kid's sizes. I want gear I/he can depend on in the ocean environment.
JANET M Wanted non-split fins, lightweight to travel with.
Shopper Hello, do we need to use a boot with this fin?
LAUREN S Yes, you will need to wear boots
GARY K My wife and I have these. We have used them with boots and "slippers" or booties. I wouldn't recommend them for use with bare feet. The material is pretty hard, so it wouldn't be too comfortable. They're roomy enough that I don't think you would have a snug enough fit in bare feet. We've been very happy with these fins for several years.
JONATHAN L Its not necessary but its so much more comfortable with boots...just feels better in my opinion.
Marilyn S Yes you would need a boot. These boots are designed and sized for use with a boot. The foot pocket is larger and stiffer so they would not be comfortable without one and the sizing would be off.
FAITH C I do. I think if you didn't it would be too big and would wear your foot with blisters.
Shopper What is the overall length of the X-Small?
PETE J Overall length is 22 inches. Foot pocket measures 10 inches and is well formed to accommodate most soled booties.
Mike K Does this fin in XL have a larger foot pocket than the Cressi Palau O/H fin (Sku# csbplfyllr)? My wife and I orderd and received the Cressi Palau and the Aeris Manata 5mm Boots (Sku# aermb9) and we could not get our foot to fit correctly.
Thanks!
Mike Krause
DEE B I can not answer that one. I also ordered new boots and mine fit fine. owever this was my 2nd set of Cressi fins.
j j We ordered I medium using a 3mm boot at the large end of its size range and it was just fine. The depth of the boot pocket: top 5.5 in., bottom ~9.5., and width 3.25 in.
Shopper I wanted to verify sizing. My wife wears a Deep Sea 5mm Mens size 7 boot and I wear a Deep Sea 5mm Mens size 9 boot. what are the fin size we should order?
JOHN B I have size 12 boots and use X=Large fins if that helps.
Shopper Trying decide between Cressi Pro Light and Cressi Frog Plus. any thoughts?
CHRIS L I'm not at all familiar with the Cressi Frog Plus fins. The Cressi Pro Light fins, which I have, are a very basic, conventional fin. But nice and light! Very comfortable in both relaxed and agressive situations. But not high performance. I don't experience any leg cramping, as I would nomally with other flat fins. That tells me they are a bit more flexibile.
From what I read about the Frog Plus fins, these are newer technology, so I would expect even better performance. If I ever need another pair I would actually give these a try, from what others have said.
JAMES J I really like the Pro Lights--I haven't kicked the Frog Plus though. The Pro Lights have been mainly used for cavern and cave diving. I use Long Blade fins like the Cressi-Gara for open water spearfishing. I hope this helps.
PETE J Cressi Pro Light Fins are a great bargain. However, If you are planning to use fins a great deal, it would benefit you to go with the Cressi Frog Plus from the start rather than upgrading later on. Fit and durability will go a long ways with these.
Reinaldo R I typically wear between a men's 8 to 8.5 in various brands of shoes and boots. What size would you recommend I get?
CHRISTOPHER A I bought the M-L size. That is what is stamped on the bottom of the fin. I wear a size 10 shoe on land and a size 10 7mm wetsuit boot. They fit very nicely, but not super snug. There is a little play when I use them. However mine are equipped with spring straps which are not as tight fitting as the ratchet straps that come with the fins. If you plan on using a dry suit such as DUI with Rock Boots these fins are waaaaaay to small. If you wear a size 8ish shoe I would recommend whatever size is smaller than the M-L that I own. These are nice fins that have held up very well with about 50 dives on them. Good luck and happy diving.
NICK & JANE O I have always gone by manufacture size chart. Don`t go over your foot size stay in the window they provide. Also I always had good results talking to the sales department personal.
Jennifer A I wear a size 7.5 ladies shoe. Ordered and just received the Cressi Pro Light fins in size S/M (which is supposed to be for size 7-8 ladies.) However, I need to pull straps all the way to fit, and heel fits all the way in, and top of fin foot opening comes all the way to the front of my ankle. I'm guessing this means they are too big and I need to exchange for a size XS. Correct?
Jennifer A Forgot to mention - I have tried these one with booties and this is the fit with booties.
Shopper i wear size 7 deep sea booties what size should i order?
PETE J Small-Medium should be good with the Deep Sea Booties. If you use a thicker sole bootie at times, go with the Medium-Large.
XAVIER B I am size 10 in shoes, generally speaking. I have boots size 9, I believe and my fins are size 10. Good luck. I will double check when can to make sure this info is right.
Shopper What is the overall length of the large size? I'm looking at a dive bag and want to make sure these will fit in it.
JAIRO A my size is XL the over lenght is 27" excelent fins, quick realese.
VINCENT S They are 25 inches. They were no smaller than regular scuba pro fins I had.
Shopper What size fin would I need, I'm a US size 12 and would wear a 3mm hard soled bootie?
LeisurePro S I would order a L/XL.
Shopper I wear a 9. What size would you recommend?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a medium/large for a man and a small/medium for a woman.
Shopper What size would you recommend for womens size 6 with a 3mm boot?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a xs/s.
Shopper I wear a size 9 Deep Sea boot. What size fin do you recommend?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a medium/large for a man and a small/medium for woman.
Shopper What size would be good for size 10.5 with a) 3 mm boot; b) 7 mm boot?
LeisurePro S The medium/large should work out fine for both boot thicknesses.
Shopper What size will be good for a Bare boot size 11?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the medium/large.

Whats in the box:Pair of Cressi Pro Light Fins Pro Light is more powerful, and is easy to use than any fin on the market. Split fins have become the most popular style fin in diving today. Just look around when you are out beach diving or on the charter boat and you will soon discover that more divers are making the switch to this style fin. Why are they so popular? They are popular because they work, and you, work less! A split fin performs more like the combination of a whale's tail and a propeller. When you kick the two separate blades twist and create more of a propeller surface which will increase your propulsion and lift... more
