Questions about this item:
michael f what would a size 7.5 womens be in these fins?
CLARANCE T I would go with a 5.5-6.5
Miyuki S Women size down two sizes and in general one sizes down 1/2 sizes for full foot fins so 4-5 with a bare foot, 5.5-6.5 with neoprene socks.
Dennis M I wear a size 13 shoe. I see the largest size these come in is 10-11. They might fit if they run big. Do they run big or they true to size?
PAUL R They are pretty true to size. Measure your foot with a tape measure...if your foot is actually 13" then these will definitely be too small. I would say it would be a very tight fit with an 11.5" foot. I wear a 10.5 (my foot actually measures 10.5") and they fit comfortably. I am able to wear boots inside of them but, it is really tight and not comfortable.
Lyly G What is proper size for women's 8.5?
WENDY B Hi! I wear a ladies size 9 shoe and I have size 4-5 in these Cressi fins and they fit well and I really like them. They have gotten a lot of use!
MARTINE F Hi Lyly,
I wear a womens size 9 sandal and 10 in a sports shoe. I bought the womens 8.5-9.5 and they fit me fine. I love these fins. They are very comfortable and make you go fast in the water. Hope this helps answer your question.
BRYCE D The best is to avoid this fin and get one of the mares ones instead. The avanti hp, tre and superchannel full foot with the open toe pocket are worth it just for comfort alone. And they have better fin design on top of that! Spend a few extra dollars and you will be happier.
Shopper My wife wears women's size 9 1/2 - 10. What size would see need for these fins?
Shana H I went with a size 9.5. Since these will be used in water I wanted them a little more snug so they wouldn't flap around.
RENEE W i found the Cressi 5-5.5 to fit my 9.5-10 female foot :) hope that helps...
Shopper how long are these fins?
PREDRAG S Just average snorkeling fin length. I bought them in size 1-2 for my daughter. Size vise they ran bigger.
Lloyd R My Pluma fins are 24.5 inches from heel to longest rart of the fin blade, they are comfortable and very good feeling fins. Lloyd Rice
Shopper what size would a womens 7 be?
Monica s Size 4-5 should be fine.
Suz M Will any of these fit a Men's size 12?
TIM T Hi Suz M < I bought these fins about a year ago. They are good fins but the sizes run big. I would say a Large would probably fit a size 12. Good luck!
ERIC P I wear a size 12 and they fit fine. I like these fins alot.
Amanda B I've heard awesome things about these fins for snorkeling, but the cressi website says they are for scuba too. What do you think? Are these fins okay to use for first time scuba divers like myself?
LACHLAN W I bought these for my wife a few years ago so we'd be able to snorkel together (i would use my scuba fins and she these). However, it turned out they were very well when diving too. In face, she just used them in a cenotes (cave) dive in Mexico a couple days ago. She has used them exclusively for both scuba and snorkeling. She is happy with them. The only add-on i would say is that because they are closed/full foot if you need to walk into the water over rocks it can be uncomfortable. Where as my fins need boots, so i can go anywhere! She has thought about adding a wetsuit sock to make them more snug, but she has small feet so i don't know if that will affect you. Good luck!
CHAD S They work well diving in warm water. They are light and efficient. There is one serious flaw, there so light the start to crack in half from the stress of swimming. They will last a year or two with heavy use at best.
RANDALL B I purchased 10 sets in 2008 for a scuba business and was not impressed by the brittleness of the plastic. For the most part they were a good fin expecially for beginner divers and snorkelers. As a diver you will want to get open healed fins with booties, they make shore diving more comfy and on a boat they help with slipping on t he deck.
Amanda B Thank you :) What size should I buy if I wear size 8 women's shoes?
TIM T I bought a couple pair of these fins. They are great all-around fins. I think the sizes runs a little large.
MICHAEL P Definitely. But only in warm waters...warm enough that you don't need to wear boots.
Sergie M People have been saying this fin runs really big. I wear size 9 shoes and usually wear 2mm booties. Should i get the 8-7 or 8.5-9.5?
HECTOR V I will advise to buy the bigger one if you wear a bootie.
Emmy C What size fins would you recommend for a woman who wears size 6-6.5 shoes and doesn't want to wear them with neoprene sock or boot ?
Emmy C yeah
that's make absolute sense
thanks man ;)
JOHN G My wife wears a 7 and 1/2 and we started with the 5.5/6 and they were too loose. The 4/5 were just right without a sock. So, you should try a 2.5/3.5.
MARCUS L Hello Emmy,
Its been a while since I bought these for my girlfriend but I would recommend you subtract 2 shoe sizes from a women's sized shoe. Look at a size 4 or 5 fin and of course even if it does not fit LP will take it back and trade it out for another size which is always nice.
Emmy C thank you
i will have to consider to order a pair of 2.5-3.5 in order to be sure about the fit and not to get them sooo loose
thanks for the advice ;)
PREDRAG S I ordered this fins for my daughter in 2008 and they are size 1-2. All I know that she could not wear them for a very long time because they were too big for her even when her regular size in shoes were 3 and 3.5. She was able to start using them last year and and she can still use them this year and her shoe size is 4.5 now. They are good fins but they are either marked wrong size or cressi sizing for hat model is extremely off. This year I bought her Scubapro Twin Jet Max Full Foot Split Fins size 5-6 and I thought they will be too big but they fit her perfectly and like I said her size is 4.5 to almost 5. I have same pair of full foot fins and I had to go size bigger but they fit perfectly. You don't need to use neoprene socks, they are comfortable and leisurepro is having them on special for $49.95 . Another full foot fins that I highly recommend is mares volo race, their sizing is right, comfortable and great performance fins. As far as cressi full foot fins I like to go with their long blades fins for skin diving and spearfishing and even snorkeling. Gara 2000 and Gara 3000 are great fins both in LD model which stands for long distance, little bit softer and easier on your calf muscles. Sizing is also correct in these models. Hope this info helps you making decision.
Emmy C thank you soooo mucho ;)
i'll have in mind
DAVID A Emmy, I bought a size 2-3 for my 7 ear old figuring that her other Cressi Clio fins in 13-1 were way too small.
In the Cressi Pluma, a size 2 swims on her. I had to go buy a 3rd pair to take with her on vacation. I bought the same cressi clio fin that she had. the Pluma is really nice , but will have to wait another year.
so, i assume that the Pluma is just built really big. her Clio was closer to a true size
hope that helps
EVAN F I bought a pair for me and a pair for my wife, judging both by the actual size shoes we wear. We got them and they were a little too big. They were usable but big, almost uncomfortably so. I would recommend ordering a size down.
Shopper How long are these fins?
LeisurePro S Fins are approx. 25" long.
Shopper I wear a size 4 -5 in womens, which size would I need?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the 2.5/3.5.
Shopper I wear a size 8 mens. What size will fit me?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the 7-8.
Shopper i wear a size 8.5 mens. Do I want the full foot fin to be snug with a 7-8 or have some room by going with 8.5-9.5?
LeisurePro S The rule of thumb with fins (especially with closed heeled fins) is to round half sizes down. You want the pocket to be snug so it doesn't slip off your heel. I would recommend the 7-8.
Shopper My shoe size is woman's 9. Is Blue Reef 3mm Neoprene Sock, Tall 6-7 will fit this fin?
LeisurePro S Yes, the sock will work just fine. I would recommend a size 5.5-6.5 in the fins.
Shopper Since I wear a size 7.0 to 7.5 women's shoe size...would you recommend either the 4-5 or the 5.5 - 6.5? Two sizes smaller falls between the two sizes...thanks!
LeisurePro S I would go with the 5.5-6.5. That way you should be good to go if you ever wear dive boots/socks with them.
Shopper What size fins would you recommend for a woman who wears size 6 shoes ? I am interested in the Cresi-Sub Pluma Full Foot Fins.Does it come in only one color ?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the 4-5. You choose your color from the pull down menu next to the size. Blue, black or yellow.
Shopper what size 1-2? i'm wear a size 9.5
LeisurePro S use size 8.5-9.5 and 1-2 is children sizing
Shopper I am buying a pair of Cresi-Sub Pluma Full Foot Fins for my daughter who wears a size 5 - what size do you suggest
Shopper I am buying a pair of Cresi-Sub Pluma Full Foot Fins for my wife. The size chart only seems to have men's sizes. How do I tell what to order for her. She wears a women's size 9.5.
LeisurePro S You will need to take a 7.5, general rule of thumb is 2 sizes smaller
