Shopper Why Did You Choose This?
KEITH H price. work well, works calfs really hard
JOHN F comfortable foot pocket
small and light for travel
RONI B they looked comfortable and were
PHILIPPE M Foir training my children to swim.
PHILIPPE M For training my children to swim.
JAN B I bought these for swim kick exercises.
Beverly U Hi, I am interested in these short closed heel fins. I want to make sure I order the correct size. Can you tell me the European size as well as the american size. Is the size 39-40 the same as 5.5-6.5? Thanks, Beverly
JAN B Beverly, US Womens is 35.5 European and 6.5 is 37 (ibid). These fins do tend to run a little large. That is when when I bought mine they were running large. Things change. These folks have a great return policy, buy your size and take them for a swim. That is, if you wear a 35.5 European... buy the size range to fit a 5.5 American. They do hold up well in pool water. I use mine for exercise but they would be great for swimming around a reef where larger fins might be hard to control touching and reef damage. I hope this helps. I like the product very much.
STEPHEN S Yes, 39-40 is the right size for your foot
Marilyn S 5.5-6.5 is 37-38.
Shopper I wear US women's shoe size 6 1/2. - 7. ( med wide) What size should I get when ordering Cressi Light Short Swim Full Foot Fins? Thsnks
MARY S I ordered a half size down - I take a seven 1/2 and I ordered the seven....better to fit snug -good luck!
JAN B Depending on the fit you want is how you should buy. You could get a great fit or a snug fit when you buy for your shoe size range. If you want a loose fit (if your feet tend to swell during intense workouts) you might want to buy one size up... but they will always be loose. Which I have found has never been a problem. Having some room for your foot to move around will be good when the cramps start. Having some room to move can help you to relax and work through the cramp versus stopping.
Buy the size range for your foot if you want a fit that will feel secure and not loose. I do hope this helps... these a great fins and very durable.
JOHN C They run about 1 size larger than normal.
Shopper I have a very narrow foot, and wear a 7.5 shoe. Is this the right product for me for recreational laps. And if so what size should I buy? Thanks.--Kathie
JON A pick your shoe size if it does'nt fit send it back.
JAN B I also have narrow feat and find these fins to fit a little long and that the fit around the circumference of my foot to be just fine. I have a good arch to my foot which helps with the fit. Remember they are not molded to your foot they are just rubber. As for their suitability for recreational laps that is a very broad question. What is recreational to one is torture to another. These fins will work your entire leg and I find foot cramps very normal when working my legs after a long swim. Depending on your kick, the quality of your workout will most probably be to your liking. The bottom line is, these fins fit a little long and are acceptable for the average foot... that is, from B to D. I am guessing that they would even work for an AAA with a good arch and firmly think that foot width is not an issue with these fins.
PHILIPPE M Katie,
It appears that these fins fit true to size. I bought two sets for my kids and I was told they're comfortable.
Good luck.
ERIC H I have enjoyed many laps with these fins. For me they give just enough help to my kick to make the swim a better work out. I wear an size 9.5 a little on the wide side. It did take a little while for my feet to calice. my suggestion would be to go off of your shoe size, if it does not fit snug send them back. I have been buying through leisure pro for some years and have never done me wrong.
I hope that helps with your decision.
Eric
Isabel E Womens shoe size is 6. What size on this fins?
Mens shoe size is 9. What size on this fin?
LISA D I wear a womens shoe size 8-8.5. Because these are listed in Mens sizes, I ended buying a size 4/5 and it seems to fit fine. You may want to try a size 1/2 if you are Womens shoe size 6. Leisure Pro is pretty good about returns and exchanges though if needed.
PHILIPPE M Isabel,
I purchased 2 pair one small one medium for my kids. the medium worked out to be a good fit for her. She \'s in a size 7 shoe. Specif ic sizes I can't be to sure about. I hope this was helpful.
JAN B I would suggest reading through the existing reviews. You will find reports that these full foot fins "run big". European sizes vary and what is a 43 by one manufacturer may not have the exact dimensional specifications as another manufacture. That means someone just using numbers to relate these sizes to US sizes may be more than a little off. Hence the comment that they "run big". It is easy to figure out the difference but just as easy to listen to the folks who have been kind enough to report that they "run big". If you are a womens size 6 you should order the smaller of the mens size (as noted on the website) that corresponds to a womens size 6. I do hope this helps.
In addition, I can say these fins are great in the pool and really work your legs. They would also be great for casual snorkling when space for gear is limited. They are warranted for a year but mine seem to be holding up for two years of pool activity (the most harsh environment for gear, IMHO.) Size is a difficult issue but Leisure Pro offers a great return poilicy. I know this is not convenient but it does help you get exactly want you need! They aim to please and I have never been disappointed. My suggestion... buy a small pair and try them in the water... THEN don't forget to add your own user comments for others to read.
STEPHEN S Womens - 4-5, Mens - 8.5-9.5
Shopper What size should I get if I'm a female size 8, US?
MARTIN S I bought a mens size 8 for myself and they fit fine. I don't know how the size options translate into womens sizes.
KARI S They ran true to size. If you are a half-size, then order the next size up.
SANDRA M If it helps, I bought a 4-5 (37-38) and I'm a size 7 women's. They fit fine.
sue m I wear a size 9 womans shoe what size do I get ?
SCOTT G My girlfriend wears a size 6 and I bought her 2.5-3.5. She says they fit her perfectly. They work well for swimming and light snorkeling.
MARY S Sue, I ordered the fin according to my shoe size. Mary
Shopper I wear a Womens 10 Wide. What size should I get?
RIVKA H I ordered my reg. size and they fit fine. These are great fins.
Chris B I wear a 11.5 men's. Will the 10/11 fit okay? Thanks!
FRANK G The fins I purchased were for a child. 12.5 in kids
ROMANO A As long as you use it barefoot (no swim socks), it should still fit (it will be snug; I have a 9.5 foot and on a 8.5-9.5 cressi full foot fin there is a little bit of space left on the toes).
LISA D I wear a 8-8.5 women's shoe. Originally, I bought a size too large and had to make an exchange. I now have size 4/5, which fits fine. I just didn't want the fin falling off in the water. I believe this fin runs in men's sizes though. Leisure Pro has good customer service and I was able to easily exchange for the proper size.
RONI B Good Morning Chris,
I would say yes, because they have a hole at the toe and it does give you some extra space. I love my fins, they were the best gift I ever gave myself. Thanks
WILLIAM T G The fins I found are true to size. 11.5 may be a bit tight, you could try them. They are a fun little fin to use in a pool or snorkeling. Thanks William....
Shopper what is the weight of these fins? I want something very packable -- short and lightweight.
ROMANO A Weight: 26.7 oz (pair)
Length: 15.5"
Width: 8" (widest part)
Height: 3.5" (stacked together 4.5")
They're only good for swimming in a pool, though. They're inadequate for fighting current in the open ocean.
CHRISTOPHER P Not sure of the weight, but they are very light and easy to pack. I use them mostly for freedive training in the pool and think they work very well. I have packed them into a carry on bag without a problem. Also, a very comfortable product.
MARY S Yes, I ordered them for a trip to St. John last spring - they did the trick - super light and good for snorkel trips on the island. I own the really long fins which can get you places faster, but they are cumbersome.
These were great and when you are trying to stay under the 50 pound limit on suitcases, it is a trade-off that works for me.
PHILIPPE M I purchased them for my children, although when we got them they felt light enough. On another note, my kids say that they really like them and are easy to walk on a pool deck without tripping.
Happy shopping!
ANDREW P I don't know the actual weight, but my wife finds them great for travelling -- light and small. Note: she only uses them snorkelling -- too small for diving.
JAN B These fins are very packable. "Lightweight" is a good question, mine weigh about 1.5# without the insert. They are always in my gym bag as they take up very little space and I consider them not heavy at all. I have never traveled with them but they are certainly short enough to fit in just about any carry on size luggage, at 8" by 16" by 1.5" each they are reasonably small. They should make great protection for anything crushable in your luggage.
JONATHAN W These are very light (just a guess, but probably no more than 2 lbs. pr.) I bought them for my son, he has outgrown them, and now my daughter wears them. They are tough, let me tell you. No slacking in quality. But I will say that the actual fin is rather short if you are looking for true snorkel fins. More like a pool fin or swim trainer actually. Don't know what they will be used for...But...
Hope this helps.
JOHN P I have a couple sets of these fins and they're great, easy to use, work well etc. but to be honest I do not know how much they weigh, it isn't much. I would say they are short and lightweight, very easy to store/carry. They would easily fit into a standard backpack. Hope this helps.
WILLIAM T G I bought 2 sets of these fins for my grand kids. They are great, I bought them for the pool but we also use them snorkeling for lobster in the keys. The kids have no problem getting down 10 feet to catch a lobster with them. They are very light and don't take up much room. I give them 5 stars, you will not be disappointed. Capt Tad Fl Keys........
LISA D These fins are quite light -- weighing only about 1.5 lbs. They are short and easily packable.
ALLISON R They are super-light and packable because they are TINY -- the blades are very short. They are smaller than most fins designed for snorkeling, and depending on the conditions they may be too small for your purposes. They're good for exercising in the pool or could work if you were doing VERY leisurely snorkeling.
Shopper Are these true to size?
LeisurePro S These run a bit large. I would recommend ordering one size down, women two sizes down.
Shopper My wife wears an 8.5 shoe but has wide feet. What size do you recommend?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a 7/8 (these are men's sizes).
Shopper I wear a women's US 8. What size should I get?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a 5.5/6.5.
Shopper My daughter is 5 and wears a size 13 kids shoe. What size fins?
LeisurePro S I would try the 12.5/13.5, but she might have to wear a bootie or sock to take up some extra room until she grows into them enough to wear them barefoot.
Shopper I usually wear an 11. What would you recommend?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the 10/11.
Shopper Is the blade rubber or a plastic material?
LeisurePro S The main part of the blade is made from a more plastic material, while the black outline around the blade and the foot pocket are made from elastomer (rubber).
Shopper What size for a woman's size 7?
LeisurePro S I would recommend starting with the 5.5/6.5.
Shopper I wear size women's 9/9.5 what size should I order?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the 7/8.
Shopper I wear a woman's size 6 shoe wide width, what is the size I should purchase for cressi sub light exercise fin. thanks
LeisurePro S I would recommend the 4/5.
Shopper What is the approximate lenth of these fins? i know it would vary by foot size but just need an idea if they will fit in my gear bag.
Shopper How do the snorkeling fins sizing compare to US women's shoe size?
LeisurePro S Go two sizes down.
Shopper Are these mens sizes or womens?
Shopper Are the sizes for this fin women's or men's?
LeisurePro S Mens, for womens sizing you need to go down a size
