STEPHEN S I used it once, so far, to carry dive gear for my wife and myself from NY to Grand Cayman. Fully packed with lightweight dive gear, it weighed about 42 pounds. In my opinion the bag's outside measurements and weight when loaded are prohibitive for use as a carryon. The bag is just too big.

PATRICIA D At 30 inches long it exceeds the carry on limits. But still a great gear bag, lightweight and flexible. You can stuff it full and still remain under the 50lb weight limit.
ROSS F Definitely not; it's too big. Dimensions are 29.5" x 15.7" x 11.8" whereas I believe most carry-on restrictions top out at 22" long x 14" wide x 9" tall (56 x 35 x 23 cm). That said, I love this bag. It is actually smaller than a lot of the other bags I looked at, yet it will still fit a full kit. The outer material is definitely more durable than some of the others I looked at. I think there may be a few out there that are smaller, but I needed something this tall to fit my fins (Mares Avanti Quattros). It lacks some of the bells and whistles of other models (no separate fin pockets, what have you) but I value durability, function, simplicity and value over the fancy-pants stuff (not dissing, that's just me).
HEATHER B I love this bag and have dragged it on land, plane, & sea (boat). But would not consider it a good candidate for carry on luggage. It reaches my hip when standing upright (I'm 5'6"), so fairly tall and is quite heavy when full of gear. I would recommend checking specific airline carry on size regulations and compare to actual luggage size if considering it as a carry on luggage purchase.

The Cressi Moby Light Bag is just that! Feather-light 6.4 lbs (85 liters) wheeled bag, specifically designed for air travel. Bag is constructed from strong 420 denier nylon. When you travel, bag allows you to maneuver through busy airport, train or bus terminals with its Telescopic Handle and Wheels. One of the problems with wheeled bags is once a wheel breaks, the bag becomes useless. Not with the Moby Light, wheels are removable, so they can be replaced if damaged. Bag has a name tag pocket, double carrying grip, large single central space with an YKK zipper. If you choose your equipment carefully, you can take all your own diving equipment and still remain within the 33 lbs (15 Kg) baggage limit of most commercial airlines. The single main compartment can be opened on three sides and is closed by a double slider YKK zipper, ensuring easy access to the bag. The reinforced pull handle is telescopic and fully retractable. There are two carrying handles: a reinforced one at the top and one with Velcro closure at the bottom.
