richard s i have the size 10 bare trek boots. they do not fit into either of my pairs of fins that i own. i could probably fit a size nine boot instead. i am wondering..... what is the width of the size 9 at the widest part ? i am hoping they are narrower so they will fit my fins. i don't want to buy another set of fins.
MICHAEL B If you are trying to dive in a drysuit with fins that you dive with wetsuit boots. Drysuit requires a heavier/stiffer fin anyways. Your not going to get a drysuit boot inside a wetsuit dive fin.

You will have to get fins!!! Dry suit boots are bigger and in most cases there is no way you can use the same fins you use to dive wet to dive dry. In scuba your never stop spending. I mean, investing.
GREGORY G I checked my boots and I also have a size 10...sorry I'm no help but I would imagine the width of the 9 is only a quarter of an inch less in width.
MICHAEL B You'll need to get wide heavy drysuit fins. Reg. wetsuit fins just won't fit or have the stiffness to move a bulky drysuit anyways. Just part of the program with a drysuit.
ANTHONY C Sorry Richard. I have size USA 11 ( UK 10 ). Dont know about the size 9. Had to buy a new pair of fins. Wont risk having cramps on my toes wearing a tighter boot, besides I'll have room for thicker socks if it gets too cold. Yeah buying more gear sucks but you wont regret it when it come to a comfortable dive.

CURTIS B Richard, I have both Trek boots in sizes 9 and 10. I measured at the widest part of the shoe on both of them. The 9's are 4.25 inches and the 10's are 4.5 inches. I hope this helps you.

Robert B I'm using them for cold-water sailboating.
Are they going to mark my decks? Or are they non-marking?

David M I wear a 8.5 American shoe size. What size do you recommend?
MICHAEL B The boots fits true to size. So you should order that size. If the boots don't come in half sizes. Then order the next half larger size which would be then size 9.
AVIRAM L I wear a size 12 (american) mens sneakers. My boots are size 12, 3xl.

MICHAEL B The boots fit true to size with the drysuit neoprene foot. Since a 8.5 size isn't a choice. Order the size 9.
SGT. T I would order 9.5-10. Always order at least one size larger.
WENDELL K They run true to size for wearing over drysuit neoprene feet. I usually double up socks in my drysuit so I would suggest a half size larger. Meaning for you a size 9. They lace well and with the velcro ankle strap there will be no slop. I bought these in 2009 along with a Bare NexGen drysuit. I dive year round here in Wisconsin and I have about 100 dives on the gear with no problems.
MATT G I have a Trilam suit (Pinnacle Evolution) with the neoprene booties attached. I am a size 12 regularly. What size boots do I need for neoprene boodies and will they fit in XL SP Jetfins?

ALBERT K I have a Pinnacle 2008 Freedom Drysuit Large and a pair of size 11 Bare Trek Boots. I wear a size XL Bare CT200 Drysuit Boot Liner under the dry suit.
I'm using
Mares Avanti X3 Open Heel Fins Yellow X-Large
Oms Monoprene Slipstream Fins 2X-Large
with spring straps.
It's a close fit but works well.
I have not tried using the stock fin straps with the dry suit boots. Definitely recommend spring straps with the dry suit boots.
There have been some postings on Scubaboard about sizes for Jetfins, which I looked when shopping for the OMS Slipstreams.

KAREN M They are perfect and worked well for me. I wore them with a DUI 50/50 dry suit. I highly recommend them. My husband also liked them.

A size 12 will fit you very well.
Shopper My compressed neoprene drysuit has attached boots which are the same size, material, and thickness as a regular soft-rubber soled wetsuit bootie. In other words, it is not thin like on a shell suit. I use them with size XL jetfins.
That being said, my foot size is 12, so would a size 12 Trek Book fit?
LUIS C I don't use my bare Treks for a dry suit since I live out in the tropics, but when I did get my boots for a size ten it was actually a lot larger than I thought. Hence it went to my son who is a size 13 - 14 depending on the brand. I recommend measuring your built in and send it in to help with your choice. I do have to say though that my son wears his boots for every dive, and has no issues with them. good luck on your sizing issue.
CHARLES W My drysuit is made the same way yours is and I also have a size 12 foot. The size 12 boots work great. The material has some give which makes it an even better fit. I have both the DUI bots and the Trek Boots. I think the Trek Boots have the best fit and comfort. As for your fins, the XL will work fine if there was room left when you have you normal wetsuit bots on.

ZAMIR T No, a size 12 would not fit. In your case it's hard to say but I would guess a size 14 would be more likely. I had a normal drysuit and I went one size up. As I said this is only a best guess.
Shopper What kind of thermal protection is there on these boots?
Brett H These boots have little thermal protection, they are an overboot for an insulated sock that is attached to the drysuit. Between the sock on the suit and whatever insulation that you choose to wear inside of that you will have enough to keep you warm. The job of the trek boot is to give you a sturdy sole what will keep the sock on the suit from getting worn out or punctured.
