Trying to decide between the 3/2 Bare sport and the 3/2 Velocity Progressive for my 21 yr old daughter. Do they both have ankle zippers? Any suggestions between the 2 suits?
My wife and I have both bought the Velocity Progressive suites from you about 3-4 years ago. Work great.
MARK M Don't know about the Velocity but I bought the Bare Sport and I like it very much. Depends on whether she needs extra stretch.
MARILYN D As a short woman, I found the Bare 3/2mm suit to be comfortable, with a great fit and easy to get in and out of. I would recommend it w/o hesitation.
RICHARD J I purchased the BARE wetsuit for my wife after buying the BARE Mens for me to be used for surfing. All though the wife isn't as avid a surfer as myself she fully enjoys the BARE wetsuit. There are no ankle zippers. The suit is true to size. She says its very flexible and keeps her warm. Its been a good wetsuit for the price. I would buy it again. I am sure you feel the same way baout the Velocity Progressive suit.
JESSICA G The sport version is not nearly as nice as the velocity suit. I was very dissapointed in the material and fit. The sport is stiff and does not conform well to your body. I would recommend that you spend extra for the velocity suit. She wont be dissapointed!!
FRANK H I got the 3/2 bare sport for my wife who is just certified and has only tried it in fresh water and the pool so far. no it dosn't have ankle zippers but the wife likes it so far. will know more by the end of next month as were going to cozumel in december.
WILLIAM M I got the 3/2 Bare Sport for diving in Belize last February. I didn't try on many suit but this one fit me just fine. It does not have zippers on the ankles. I don't believe I can find fault with it. I'm 5'2" and about 127. I normally wear a size 2 or 4 in regular clothes but the size 8 suit fits me just fine. Since I'm short the legs are a little long but I have not problem pulling them up a bit. Hope this helps.
HUY D No, the sport does not have the ankle zipper. I really suggest the Velocity over the sport, it's a lot easier to get in since the neoprene seems to stretch more.
