KEVIN N How much weight do you have to add if you're wearing this under a wetsuit? 7/8 semi-dry.
JOSEPH S I don't need to add any weight and I don't see why anyone would need to add more than an extra pound at most.
KEVIN N That's been the consistent response. Does this keep you warmer?
JOSEPH S Yes it helps a lot and I used it all the time but about 6 months ago I switched to a vest with an attached hood which is awesome. i was always reluctant to use a hood but after trying one it's the only think I will use now.
GEORGE M I was diving with a 7mm wet suit with a hood. I added 2 lbs.

GEORGE M Yes, it absolutely kept me warmer. I would not dive cold water without a vest at this point.

KEVIN N Thanks,Mark. Do you find this helps warmth wise? I'm diving in Monterey with a 7/8 semi dry and would like to beef up the chest a little bit.
MARK G Yes it does, I wear it under a 5 mil when the thermoclines hit the Atlantic side of Florida. I use 12 pounds with a 19cf Pony and don't adjust weight for the vest
DAVID S I wear this one under a 5 mm every winter. I never add more than 2 lbs and that's overkill. I'm an instructor and love this vest as layered warmth.Great product!
