jay s How big is the orange 140lb bag when it is rolled up to be stowed; will it fit into a zeagle ranger bc pocket?
CHARLES H I am unsure about the Zeagle, but the bag almost fits in my BC pocket, with a few inches out the top. I only carry the bag, when I expect to need it. I am usually spearfishing, and do not have room for the bag in conjunction with all of the spearfishing gear. When I need the bag, I usally fold and handroll. Without attempting to minimize the size, I would guess the folded size is about 8 inches long and 3 inches in diameter.

ROGER B no there is no vent, its not needed. you can dump air by pulling down on the top corner of the lift bag. one could be added if desired. these are great bags, well made.
CHARLIE S No the Blue Reef Lift Bag does not have a vent on top. I must say this lift bag is a great deal you can not go wrong with this one pleanty of lift.I use mine for spearfishing.

DANE L Matt, this lift bag does not have a vent on top. The instructor for the advanced nitrox & decompression procedures class I'm taking told me that there is a risk of this lift bag taking on water & sinking back down to me in rough seas because of it's design. I'm still looking for a suitable one myself.
Shopper How do you fill these up with air, and what are the dimensions of the 140lb bag once its filled? I'm looking for something to float a boat lift to move it, (I'd need around 5 of them to be safe).
RAY S By your question it doesn't sound like you have much experience using lift bags. To lift an object requiring more than one lift bag takes a coordinated effort with a team familiar with large lifts.As a master scuba diver trainer, I would strongly recommend taking a search & recovery dive course and do some research on large object lifting.
As far as how do you fill a lift bag with air, you use your alternate air source or with large enough bags and great depths you may need something like a pony bottle. Seriously though lifts requiring 4 or more 140lb. lift bags can be dangerous without a solid thought out method. Not a wing it project :) Be safe.
