Shopper Can I use "EZ Spring Fin Strap - Recreational Diver, Black(SKU :AQUEZR)from Innovative" on this fins?
EVELYN B I have used my fins for 3 weeks just as they came they work perfect.
Corey R Yes, I've used mine (the blue ones) on these as the connection is standard. You will however have to use the post that comes with the Elite fins as its a smaller connection that those found on other fins. So un-clip the silicone strap and clip in the springs. Just make sure you get your sizing right as these fins have a generous foot pocket which is actually a good thing.
MICHAEL M I know that Tusa spring straps fit. Easy-straps list the brands that they will not fit, Sherwood is not listed there. I think you will be OK, the worst thing that could happen - you will use LP easy return policy
Shopper How long are the fins?
Corey R I have the XLs which are size 13-14. From the tip to the heel using a straight measuring tape they are just under 26 1/2 inches.
Kenny H The large fins are 25" from heel to fin.
GEORGE G The length is 23 3/8 in. measuring from the tip to the heel. The edge of the heel strap adds another 1.5 inches but this can be pushed into the heel. On the tip. you have about 3/4 in. that can be bent before the rigid plastic. I've fit the fins in carry-on by placing them diagonally and having the tip bend. How this helps.
Kenny H I wear men size 9 and 10 dive boots( 9.5in tennis shoes) and I am unsure what size catagory I would fall into? Meduim or large?
DON S I am the same foot size and ordered "Large". Unfortunately that turned out to be the wrong size. The actual size men's shoes for the "Large" is 11 to 12. Because the heel strap is a fixed length I was unable to even put my boot in and cinch the strap real tight. I recommend buying the medium if you choose this fin.
MICHAEL M I would generally go 1 size larger than your boots, but it varies by brand and model. Ideally you should try, but with LP you can exchange it for different size, and I have used that opportunity couple of times in the past.
