Steve S There are two bolts on the backplate that you will insert into the holes in the center of the wing. You will then tighten it down with two wing nuts that are supplied with the backplate.
Designed to be worn with double tanks or singles, the Rec Wing is a versatile wing for those who wish to dive doubles or single tanks. Best suited for tall divers or divers who require more buoyancy at the waist, the Rec Wing employs a Gusset Control System (GCS) cord woven through tabs on the front face of the wing. When tightened, the cord limits lift capacity so the Rec Wing can be used with single, backmount tanks. When the GCS cord is loosened, the Rec Wing provides its full lift capacity of 45 pounds/20.4 kg* of lift and can accommodate two 95 ft3/15 L back mounted cylinders. The Rec can be a single (BC2074) or dual bladder (BC2074-DUAL) wing. Its unique bladder design allows a single bladder Rec to be altered to become a dual bladder wing at a later date, if desired Loose or tight, the GCS cord helps the Rec Wing maintain a small profile for divers traversing in tight passages and the cord compression helps in dumping air. Tough, ballistic nylon outer bag protects the wing from tears and abrasion. The 15-mil urethane bladder is abrasion resistant, chemical resistant and resists the growth of microorganisms The Rec Wing is designed for use with the TransPac, TransPlate or any webbing-style harness. Made in the U.S.A. *As of July 1, 2011 lift measurement on all Dive Rite wings has been revised to reflect the most recent lift testing based on European CE requirements. Please note the wing itself has not changed. To avoid unnecessary wear and tear, remove metal backplates from the wing for transport and do not carry a metal plate stuffed into a dive bag along with a wing and other soft goods.
