Shopper Sizing help pls. Head 22 inches at forehead widest point. Neck 12.5 inches. Really easy to pull on and off? Generally I hate 5mm hoods but was willing to trek this since it's thinner and stretchy. Tx
SHAUN S My head is around 22 or just a bit more at forehead and my neck is like 14 inches. I have the medium and it is a perfect fit. It is easy to put on and take off. It seems like really good neoprene and is definitely a little stretchier than a 5mm hood. This xcel hood is more comfortable to me and better fitting around the part that seals around my face than any other brand hood I've tried be it a 3mm or 5mm. As far as warmth goes, I dove it in water as cold as 57degree without any problem and was fine ...and I'm generally a bit of weenie about cold.

Hood is manufactured using a Thermo-Bamboo Inner Liner. This unique Liner is made from a Blend of Bamboo Charcoal-Infused Fibers and Recycled Poly Fibers. Thermo-Bamboo has Excellent Heat Retention and helps Improve Warmth. All Seams are Double Glued and Blind Stitched for a Leak Proof Design to keep your Head Comfortable throughout the dive. The Xcel Thermo-Flex 4/3 mm Hoods Extended Bib allows Layering with your wetsuit increasing the Thermal Barrier in the Critical Neck and Chest area. Hood is available in 5 sizes from Small to 2X-Large and is covered by a 3 month limited warranty.
