The Ikelite ULTRA Compact Digital Housing really delivers when performance and durability matter. The ULTRA Compact housing is high quality, built to last and backed by Ikelite's long-standing reputation for excellence. All camera controls except the "?" button are fully functional through the housing and depth rated to 200' (60 meters). Easy open latch and drop in camera loading make set-up a breeze. Two 12-24 threaded mounts on the bottom of the housing allow for the secure, rotation-free attachment of optional trays and lighting accessories.

The Ikelite compact digital housing is molded of corrosion free, virtually indestructible clear polycarbonate and all controls are sealed with Quad-Ring seal glands. Its compact size 6.6"W x 4.4"H x 3.3"D (16.8 x 11.2 x 8.4 cm), lightweight less than 1 lbs (454 g) and slightly positive in buoyancy underwater makes this one great housing.

An unobstructed view of the main o-ring provides assurance that the case is sealed properly. A built-in flash is effective between1-3 feet (0.3-0.9 meters) from the subject in clear conditions. For best results an external strobe is recommended. Two 12-24 threaded mounts on the bottom of the housing allow for the secure attachment of optional trays and lighting accessories.

Color filters replace some of the reds, oranges and more natural tones that would otherwise be lost underwater. Effective in relatively shallow, sunny conditions adding an optional filter can improve your photographs. Two filters available are SKU: IK644131 for tropical blue water and SKU: IK644171 for use in green water settings. An external wide angle conversion lens increases angle of coverage so you can get much closer to your subject while still fitting everything in the frame. By reducing the amount of water between the subject and your camera lens, the resulting image will be more crisp and colorful. Attach 67mm threaded SKU: IK6420 Ikelite W-20 and Epoque lenses using the SKU: IK930678 port adapter. This adapter may also be used to attach 67mm threaded macro lenses.

For optimum lighting underwater an optional external strobe (flash) is recommended. Ikelite strobes are brighter; recycle faster and offer wider coverage than the camera's flash. Being farther from the camera lens, the strobe aids in reducing the illumination of particles in the water which helps to eliminate backscatter. Use the AutoFlash AF35 (SKU: IK4035) for easy automatic exposure. Housing comes complete with a vinyl lanyard port cover silicone lubricant and an Instruction Manual.
