Questions about this item:
Shopper Is the 1st stage the same for the Cayman and the Bonaire?
Michael C No all 3 1st stages are different. The Cayman would be the highest performance followed by the SG500, and then the Aruba.
Whats in the box:1'st and 2'nd Stage Regulators, LP Hose and Owner's Manual The Sub Gear Bonaire Regulator is a High Performance Balanced Diaphragm First Stage Regulator with Dry Chamber for all temperatures, including cold or murky water. The Bonaire First Stage Regulator is the perfect choice for the recreational diver who wants the advantage of a diaphragm first stage for use in temperate waters. Bearing in mind that regulators generate temperatures as low as minus 22°F (-5.5°C) due to the incredibly fast moving air and the pressure drop involved, it is imperative that sensitive moving metal parts avoid contact with extremely cold water or debris. Therefore, diaphragm first stages have been the favored choice of cold-water divers and those working in contaminated or muddy water. Sub Gear's diaphragm first stages feature balanced technology and are packed with features resulting in ultra fast flow to the second stage on demand and a fantastic overall performance. The Bonaire first stage's streamline body is constructed of machined marine-grade chromed brass. The First Stage has a balanced diaphragm to offer you peace of mind with its smooth breathing mechanisms and maximum performance that don't diminish as your tank's air pressure changes. First-Stage Regulator is equipped with two HP and four LP Ports 2 of which are High Flow Ports (HFP), is Nitrox Ready Up to 40% and weigh's 30 oz (850 g). The Second Stage also incorporates a fail-safe downstream demand valve which is simple, yet efficient. The Bonaire has a reversible hose attachment, which means it will accommodate your regulator set up configuration needs. The Bonaire's streamline design, minimal weight 6.1 oz (174 g) w/o hose, and orthodontic silicone mouthpiece mean jaw fatigue and pain won't be a hindrance for you breathing from the second stage regulator. The streamline shape also means the experience of gear drag is a thing of the past. Clearing the regulator is made easy with the high-flow purge valve. The Second Stage is also equipped with a Diver Adjustable Venturi to minimize free-flow and enhance breathing. Complete regulator weighs 36.1 oz (1,024 g) without the hose and comes with an Owner's Manual.
