The TL1800 is a Self-Contained Tech-Light that pumps out a powerful 1800 Lumens in a Compact Body Style, with a Reliable Magnetic Switch, featuring 3 Levels of Brightness Output. The Big Blue TL1800 Technical LED Light comes with a unique Hands-Free sturdy hand mount glove for ease of use. This light offers reliable performance that satisfies the needs of many diving challenges.

Included in the TL1800 package is a Big Blue Smart Charger offering a quick-charge option which allows the user to recharge the NiMH Battery in about an hour - or to preserve battery life, use the long-charge option. The Battery cell pack is removable, this offers several advantages: user can carry multiple charged battery cell packs to avoid the need for charging on trips or multiple dives in one day. And a removable battery cell pack is a necessity when traveling overseas for security purposes.

Included with the light is an Aluminum Lantern Grip and Lanyard for handheld use. Light has 3 x Ultra High Intensity LED's which produces a Hot Spot Beam Angle of 10° with a Periphery Beam Angle of 72°. The light is constructed from aluminum alloy, and is anodized, to be anti-corrosive. The light has a Color Temperature of 6500 K. The light is equipped with a Thermal Protection System that helps prevent the light from overheating by cutting off the power, in case of prolonged use on land, or when the torch has been exposed to temperatures above158 F (70 C). Light is Depth Rated to 330' (100 meters), the front glass is made from Tempered Optical Glass and the light has a double O-Ring Seal.

The long lasting LED Lamp is guaranteed a life span of 50,000 hours, reducing the need for periodic replacement of the lamp. The Torch measures 2.87" x 7.83" (73 x 198.8mm) and weighs 29.63 oz (840 g) with batteries (on land) and is negatively buoyant underwater weighing -12.35 oz (-350 g).
