A light with AFO feature, gives the user the opportunity to use it as a focus light in photography. Today's modern digital cameras have very accurate auto focus features but they require a certain amount of light and contrast in order to function. Sometimes this is a problem underwater, so having a continuous light mounted above the port will help the camera to focus. The FF-1x5 AFO Plus is perfect for this purpose since the Auto Flash-Off function will automatically turn off the light for 1 seconds when your strobes fire. This way the focus light will not affect your photo even if you are shooting at a slow shutter speed. With 450 Lumens High Output and 53- Wide even Beam, in addition to the Auto Flash Off Function, this compact diving light is an ideal focus light which helps you to focus your perfect shot easily at low light condition. It comes with a ball joint for easy mounting to your camera or video system. Light is powered by only 4 x AA Alkaline or Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries, its burn time is up to 4 hours, and its luminosity is powerful enough to be your primary diving light.
The light is constructed from aluminum alloy, and is anodized, to be anti-corrosive. The light has a Color Temperature of 6500 K, and the light has a unique "Flying-Fish" shape, and features a Rotary Magnetic Switch. The light is equipped with a Thermal Protection System that helps prevent the light from overheating by cutting off the power, in case of prolonged use on land, or when the torch has been exposed to temperatures above158 F (70 C). Light is Depth Rated to 330' (100 meters), the front glass is made from Tempered Optical Glass and the light has a double O-Ring Seal.
The long lasting Cree LED Lamp is guaranteed a life span of 50,000 hours, reducing the need for periodic replacement of the lamp. The Torch measures 2.17" x 8.07" (55.2 x 205.2 mm) and weighs 20.46 oz (580 g) with batteries (on land) and is negatively buoyant underwater weighing -6.17 oz (-175 g). Included with the torch is a 1" (26 mm) standard Ball Joint for photography mounting, a Lantern Grip for uses as a dive light and a wrist lanyard.
