Questions about this item:
Igal V I'm 5 ft 8.5 in, chest 39 in, waist 33 in, hips 35 in, weight 158 lbs. Akona site calc says I'm in between MD & ML sizes. Should I stick to the smaller or a larger size ?
The next question: is this suit warm enough for 70 F or maybe Bare 5/4 velocity would be a better choice ?
What's would be the size of Bare 5/4 velocity suit that I should get then ?
PS: I felt warm enough with 5 mm long sleeve shorty in 70 F (that's why I'm considering 3mm Akona jumpsuit).

RICHARD J MD is a good place to start. I'm just a bit taller than you but a bit lighter, and the ML is almost too long for me - the ML is going to be too long for you IF the sizing runs consistant to what I've used.
The suit should be good for 70 IF you have a good fit - no suit is going to be comfortable if you've got a cold river flowing up your butt!

In short, yes, the 3mm suit is plenty warm for 70 degrees. However, without knowing how cold you get, I cannot truly answer that question. I stay cool, but not old, using my 3 mm in 50 to 45 degrees.
I would stick with the average sizing. Akona stay very true to its sizing chart. If you will fit in a Medium, according to Akona, get the medium. There is a big gap in sizing, so you risk having the suit too baggy otherwise, which will end up defeating the thermal properties. A properly fitting suit will be snug, as it should.
