ROBERT O I purchased this wetsuit for my daughter who is 15yr, 51/2 feet tall and weighs about 115 pounds and it was too small. We elected to return and did not purchase another one.
Shopper I'm a new surfer in the northeast. Is this a good wet suit to buy for the beaches in New Jersey, especially for the spring and fall?I also do not like being cold at all!
KRISTIN H I have been using this wetsuit for scuba diving. It has been great and I hate to be cold also.
CODY G This is a great wetsuit, but I would recommend a 4/5mm if you don't want to be cold at all. Of course, it depends on how long you're planning to be in the water, too. On the other hand, it's really flexible and great for surfing in, the 4/5mm are a little stiffer.
Shopper I already have Oneill Sector 5 mm wetsuit. it's size 8 and fits great. My body measurements do not match the size chart. I am 5'9'' and weigh around 145. According to the chart, I should order size 10 or 12. Should I order the same size as my 5 mm wetsuit or one size larger?
Monica s Yes, I could see where you would fall into a 10 according to the chart, but if you already have the sector I would stay with the 8. The charts are usually a general guide so should be good in 8 if that is what you already have.
Shopper Snorkeling in Hawaii water. Should I get a 2mm or 3/2 full suite for a person that cannot stand cold
LeisurePro S If you'll be there during the summer, a 2mm should be just fine for snorkeling. If you're there during the colder months and really can't stand cold, you could think about a 3/2.
