Shopper does the blade extend thru the handle?
Sherwood P I believe that it does, on the end of the handle there is a HEX type screw that you can remove which allows you to remove the blade completely from the handle. I will say this, I have had this knife with me on every dive, from Doria, U-869, to the shallow stuff since I bought it back in 2007 and it has never once corroded or let me down in anyway! It is a very well built, sturdy knife that should last you many years. Hope this helps.

Whats in the box:Knife, Sheath and Leg Straps A Dive Knife is a tool a diver needs on every dive. Most knives are made of stainless steel. A Stainless Steel Knife if not cleaned and dried properly will begin to rust. Titanium has a greater resistance to corrosion and is more forgiving then stainless steel. Titanium is lighter weight then steel so it makes a more desirable tool then stainless steel does, light weight and corrosion free! This knife is durable, has an ergonomic handle grip, and is low profiled. Cleaning is made super easy with the removable handle. The knife has a 4" curved blade which is ideal for cutting fishing line or kelp. The Ti6 is easy to handle and remove from its sheath with only two fingers. Knife blade has both a serrated and a smooth edge and line cutter, the knife sheath like the knife is lightweight in design and comes equipped with leg straps that are equipped with quick-adjust buckles. Knife is available in either a blunt or pointed tip model.
