I've done 8 dives without really making an effort to rinse them. No corrosion at all so far. They don't come with a sheath, no big deal to me because I keep them in my dive shorts scissors pocket while diving anyway. I'm sure they could include a sheath, no problem but it would just cost more. These are a bargain considering the quality,

Good quality shears. Used them for cutting the fins off Lionfish before feeding them to the sharks. Just wish they came with a sheath to attach to a BCD. I called the store before ordering so I knew this but wanted the titanium shears instead of the stainless steel. They are worth the increase in price. As a workaround I put a lanyard on them, cliiped them to a D ring, and tucked them into my BCD pocket.

We hunt Lionfish in the Caribbean, spearing them then feeding them to passing Snappers and Groupers who will stay away from them but eat them if they are injured/dying. The larger Lionfish are still dangerous until you cut the white-tipped spines off. After that, the Snappers and Groupers tear them apart. These shears are perfect for that.
