Shopper Can you tell me the difference between the X-tek Form and the X-tek Pure Tek BCs besides the extra D-rings?
ROSS K The Pure Tek is a very minimal design consisting of webbing and back plate. You will need to add the d-rings as you like.
The X-Tek is closer to a Rec BC and has padded shoulder straps and waist band and multiple d-rings already installed.
Miyuki S The Form has padded shoulders, quick release Buckles on both left and right shoulders and a cross-chest sternum strap. The Pure has a Continuous Nylon Webbing Strap. The X-Tek Soft Travel Back-Plate can be used with the Form.
Shopper can i attach this harness with other bladders or does it just work with scuba pro?
DONALD H I bought this item, but I wanted a dump value on my hose, so I got a wing from Dive-Rite. Just check that the holes line up for the attachment screws.
The stainless steel plate is very heavy. I'd recommend the aluminum one.

Greg Flanagan first invented the metal back-plate using aluminum in 1979 for North Florida cave divers.
