KAREN A "Richard" is correct; this "Waterproof" is a brand name. I own several "Waterproof" wetsuits and rash guards. They are all excellent products.
KAREN A This is not a full suit. This is just a thin rash guard top. It adds a layer of warmth under my wetsuit when diving. You may want to look at 2-3 mil shorty wetsuits for a full body suit. My mother-in-law has one of those cold water exercise pools and she bought a light shortie wetsuit for that.Search "2-3 mil shortie wetsuit" to see these.
Steve S All rashguards and wetsuits are made to allow water to pass through as that is how it keeps you warm.
RICHARD S My wife hasn't used the Waterproof R30 shirt yet (our trip will be in July) but; I believe Waterproof is the brand name not a description of the garments ability to repel water.
