Shopper Can the suspenders be used with the pouch type weight belt? Are the suspenders worn under the BCD?
MATTHEW B Sorry, I'm not sure about the pouch type weight belt. I bought this to use with my dry suit to hold my weight belt, but have not done any dry suit diving since I purchased it, and have not axtually used it yet.

ED C Sorry but I can't be of help. I never ended up using them. I planned to rig it for a regular weight belt on a drysuit (looser belt=no pinch to trap air), but I ended up buying a weight integrated dive rite transpac bc with weight pouches.

JOHN V Yes, you need to wear the suspenders under your BCD. We use this type of suspender for fossil hunting in the rivers. You can only use this with a standard weight belt with weights. It's really nice, now the weight belt stays around my waist. You need to be very aware that you have to reach under your BC and around your waist to drop weight belt in case of emergency.
ROBERT F They loop onto your weight belt, attached by loops in the suspenders. Worn under the BCD. A bit awkward to get into. I lost one of the peices from the shoulder adjuster to the belt loop.
SHAWN A yes i have usedthem with pouch or pocket belts. you wear the suspenders under your BCD.

BOB H My suspenders work out well. The suspenders are used under the BCD. I do not see why not the suspenders cannot be use with a pouch type belt.

Shopper I understand the suspender concept, but where are the weights positioned? (front, back, etc.) What type of weights can one use with this product? I presume one would have to open both clasps to drop the belt. Thanks, Gene
