Shopper I am looking for a vest that lets you let out the air easily with one hand for diving, does this vest work that way? If not do you have one that dos?
Steve S This is exactly what you are looking for. You will be able release the air with one hand from the valve on your chest.
MITCHELL K Yes, I snorkel and when I do dive, I can let the air out of the vest with one hand. Can also fill the vest with one hand while blowing into mouth piece. i feel it is a very good vest.
Frances A Up to what weight is this particular vest recommended for?
MARY G I do not know what the manufacturer lists as the weights, but my husband is 225 lbs and it works fine for him, we ordered the large.
KENNETH R The large size is rated for above 154 lbs. There is no maximum weight indicated. The fully inflated vest provides 13 lbs of bouyancy, which is quite a bit for an individual in the water.
SCOTT R I weigh 260 lbs and the vest had no problem keeping afloat in lake water.
I'm figuring for me the vest will need only a small amount of inflation in salt water.

MARY G They are very light weight. The Valve for inflation does not let any water in. the straps adjust easily, the zipper pocket is wonderful for the camera. The fabric is tougher than the commercial ones they make you wear. We were very pleased with them.
MARY G I meant the fabric of the vest is light in weight, it folds or rolls well for storage. The fabric is very durable, we have had no rips, tears, or snags.
