I am replacing my Henderson original Hyperstretch 12T and thought this was the one. I love Henderson suits.

I agree with the other review...the wrists are so small, I could not get my hand through the opening. In addition, the back zip is only half the length of the full back zip on my Hyperstretch. I feared I'd break it at the base attempting to get it over my shoulders. Henderson, what's up with this design?

I returned this one, and ordered the Thermoprene instead (I don't need an AquaLock).

Shopping for a replacement for the Mares 3mm my wife has used on over 220 dives, she tried this one on as a preferred choice at a local dive store. Our objective, of course, was to order it here from Leisure Pro, [...] She is 5' tall, 105 lbs, and had to drop to size 2. It was a good fit, BUT I would not recommend it at least for the reason that it was almost impossible for her to get on. The zipper was way too short, ending midway between her shoulder blades and her waste. After pulling the suit on, it she had to stretch the suit to the extreme to get it over her arms and shoulders. At this point I could see that the bottom of the zipper was taking all the strain, leading to my conclusion that it couldn't last very long. In addition, as another reviewer noted, the wrists were so tight that it cut off her circulation. The dive shop operator honestly said that others have had donning problems and with the tight wrists.The obvious counter-argument is that she should have tried a larger size--size 4. She did. The crotch hung down a good three inches--way too long.Maybe this suit is actually designed for the long waist, thin models shown in the ads. For the premium prices that Henderson charges for their suits, I would recommend that anyone contemplating a purchase should do a test fit before committing to Henderson. In fact, one should ask him/herself if the Henderson brand is really worth 80-100% most other good suits.

A week before our Dive trip we ordered a size 14 which ended up being to large. I then called & talked to an associate & they helped me get the correct size in a 10t. I love the suit and do not feel restricted in it.

The material was soft, the suit easy to put on. The sizing ran big for me (according to the measurements) but the reason I had to return it and won't be ordering a size down is that the wrist seals were so tight, my hands turned grey. Would be great for someone with small wrists (I'm sure it keeps the water out).

The wetsuit material is stretchy and silky smooth so it's absolutely no effort to put on and so comfortable when on. I liked the flap and velcro system at the ankle - it enables you to wear either ankle boots (without being too tight) or booties (without being too loose).

I went to Egypt where the water was 24-26 degrees (diving 3x a day) - I do get cold easily but this suit did the job of keeping me warm enough.

I originally ordered an 8 as my measurements were borderline 6-8 but it was too big so I returned it for the smaller size. Extremely efficient returns process :-)

I can't think of any major cons - the fabric (the yellow flash on the chest) has started to rub a tiny bit where it is in contact with my BCD - but hey, that's wear and tear and expected.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and yes, would buy similar again :-)
