Shopper Hi - I'm really confused about the sizing on this product. Various reviews say it runs big, others say it runs small. Which is it? My standard oceanic wetsuit is a medium (14) so by the sizing chart I should be a medium. Help! Thanks
LARRY L I'm not sure if size runs fine, big or small. All I can do is give you my statistics and experience and you can judge. Remember LeisurePro is great about their "fits right" policy.
I'm 5'10" and weigh about 210-220. (obviously a bit overweight) I have heavy legs from referreing soccer and now a gut. I bought 2 suits. First a large which was a bit tight to get in and out of but not terrible. Then a 2X. so that I could layer them. The 2X fits just right over the large. In retrospect I wish I had bought a 1X and a 2X. Hope this helps.
One thing you should know - in the picture, the blue area is spandex not poleolefin. If you want insulation in that area as well you might add a 3mm vest or go with another product (Lavacore?)
ANTHONY S I am 6'2" and 190 pounds. Normally I wear a Large Tall wetsuit (Excel brand).
I ordered the Henderson jumpsuit using their sizing guide, which suggested I was a Large. Girth-wise the suit fits fine; it's snug, but nowhere tight enough to be uncomfortable, and snug is the name of the game when it comes to dive skins.
The sleeves and legs are a bit short, as could be expected since I normally wear "Tall" sizes. If Henderson offered a Tall option on this dive skin I would've gotten it, but the shortness isn't so bad as to be annoying or distracting. (It tends to stretch during the first hour or two of wear, so by the end of the day I hardly notice it.)
Overall, I'd say the sizing is right on.
KURT W I would say they run a bit short versus small based on my purchase. I'm 5'10" and 165 and a medium fits but if I was any taller it would not. I typically wear a medium so unless you are taller that should work.
NICK M Runs really small. Upsize 1-2 sizes
