E W J This Tank Pressure Checker does NOT have a push button bleeder valve. It does have a turn-ring pressure relief (visible in the middle of the photo), but this is only meant to depressurize the gauge itself - it should only be opened when the tank valve is CLOSED.
This is a strongly-made, very basic gauge-and-yoke unit. It only has two additional features: The gauge rotates freely (until the yoke is tightened down), so you can turn it to a convenient viewing angle; and the gauge body has a good, solid rubber protector, which covers the entire gauge except for the face, and provides a small hanging/mounting loop at the top.
FLOYD G No. The bleeder valve is the collar just below the gauge. Just turn it one way or the other and it will let the pressure escape.
DANIEL B No. The pressure bleed is a rotation ring on the main shaft of the unit.
JOHN D no it does not however the knurled ring below the gauge allows pretty slow exhausting of air by slow turning

CARLYN T The bleeder on my checker has a small ring around the stem under the gauge. You just tighten or loosen to check/bleed. It's easy and I've had no problems with it. My husband is an airhog so he wants a tank as full as possible. We have used the checker constantly for a couple of years and it is holding up very well.

STEPHEN N No, there's a knurled collar that rotates about 1/8 turn to release the pressure. You can see it just above the yoke portion.
NATHAN K The bleeder is not push button. There is a ring around the shaft right under the pressure gauge that when 1/4 twisted one way bleeds the system and twisted the other way makes it air tight.
DAVID B It's not a push button but it does have a pressure release on it rite at the buttom of the gauge.It is a nice gauge to have it works fine for me.
SCOTT S Yes, this pressure gage has a "twist" valve to bleed the air out before releasing the unit. The twist/turn valve is located just under the brass nut that you see in the picture.
JEFFREY L No push button bleeder it has a turn valve between the gauge and the mount. This is used to release the pressure after turning the tank off so the gauge can be removed or it can be locked open to drain a tank.
MARC K I purchased this exact item last year. Great value. Very high quality. It is not a push button but rather a collar that you turn less than a quarter turn to bleed off any pressure. It works great for me. You do not have to crank it down real hard for it to seal and it is easy to open up when you need to bleed it. I would recommend this purchase for anyone looking to add a tank checker to their arsenal of dive toys.
