RONALD M I like to use a thin shorty when diving in 70-75' water. I have used this suit and a similar one in Bonnaire in November 2011 and in the Bahamas in September 2012. I generally wear this over a dive skin and find that I am comfortable for both daytime and night dives.
The extra layer of neoprene adds comfort for me.
I am now in my mid-60's and when younger woudl dive with just the skins, but now find the additional insulation eliminates the chill after 40-50 minutes of a shallow dive.
jarrod j does the front zipper have a neoprene backing that completely protects/blocks the zipper from your skin to prevent pinching and pulling of hair?
RONALD M Yes, it does. I have not used it yet. Purchased for a fall trip to Bahamas, but I checked the zipper flap last evening and it is fully protected from skin contact.
LUIS C Yes there is a flap for protection of skin under the zipper.
LARRY K Yes, there is a neoprene flap that completely covers the zipper backing. I love mine for warmer water diving.
